I have my smoker up and running and so far I love it. I've mostly made barbeque. Yesterday I tried something different. I had a packet of Tandoori Sauce. I cooked up some rice on the stove top and bought a rotisserie chicken earlier that day.
I marinated the cooked chicken in the Tandoori sauce and at the proper time I put it in the smoker.
I put the cooked rice in a pan under the chicken and turned the smoker on.
In about a half an hour I had hot chicken and the rice was dotted with chicken and Tandoori chicken sauce droppings.
I served it with a salad. It was very good. The Tandoori sauce was complimented with the smoky flavor.
Does anyone have any good recipes for the smoker. I'm a little leary of putting any expensive meat in there in case I ruin it, even though my pulled pork and ribs have been pretty good.
