No you did not! You said "The CCC says differently" and then quoted the CCC on the section about purgatory. BUT...that's not the whole story because in the section about indulgences the CCC clearly states that you "expiate" your sins. This of course is contrary to God's word!I said people don't expiate/atone for their own sins - by their own power, just to clarify. That atonement/expiation is available only because it is first Christ's and we have been invited to participate in it.
Again, this is not true! You said: "Jesus did not pay for the temporal punishment for our sins. If that were the case then we would not suffer physical death." indicating that since Jesus did not pay the "temporal punishment for our sins", then we have to with our death! WE don't pay for out sins in any capacity. Scripture refutes your claim that we die because we have to pay this "temporal penalty".I also didn't say that our death pays for our sins.
