Excuse me? A person can not have a middle ground position? You are a confused man if you truly think this.

And where did anyone say that Pink was Word/Faith?? Nowhere. Genna said that what Pink said could be considered a WF statement. Never was there a statement that said that Pink was Word/Faith.

Quit with the misrepresentation to prove you points.

NOWHERE in scripture does it say this. NOWHERE! Scripture says that OUR SINS will not be IMPUTED TO US (2 Cor 5:19). It says NOWHERE that our curse was imputed to Jesus: it says that Jesus became a curse for us (Gal 3:13). It says NOWHERE that our sins were imputed to Him: it says that Jesus was made to be sin for us (2 Cor 5:21).

You have to project imputation from verse 19 and INCORRECTLY apply it to other verses that Paul himself did not and would not apply it to (for it is clear that he knows the concept, teaches the concept and clearly and plainly DID NOT APPLY the concept where you would have it applied).

Do not distort scripture. NOWHERE does scripture say what you say it is saying here.

Huh?? Yes, He took our curse, and He also took our sin. No, He did not take "ownership" of our guilt. He paid the price for our sin. That is not ownership. That is sacrifice. That is an action: paying the price for our sin.

No. The meaning that Pink clearly states is similar to what Word/Faith teaches. This does not make Pink Word/Fatih -- on the contrary, Pink was a staunch Calvinist. But the statement that was quoted was very similar in meaning to what Word/Faith holds to -- and this is quite clear.

If you don't believe that these are esential, I fear for what other doctrines you can "live" with...
Joe, clearly, do you believe this (for it doesn't seem you do):

1 Corinthians 15:16-18

For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

This is quite clear, Joe. Do you believe it? If Jesus goes to the cross, is pierced and sheds His blood, dies, His body placed in a tomb, His spirit decending into hell (as the Creed clearly states) and then.....

....and then right before He is risen, something different happens: let's suppose He does not rise. What does scripture say:

17 And if Christ is not risen ... you are still in your sins!

Joe, I need to know if you believe scripture to be truth. Is this verse true or should it be cut from the bible?

If Jesus Christ is not risen from the dead then YOU ARE STILL IN YOUR SINS. Jesus must pay the price for your sin on the cross and He must rise after three days and present that blood at the Mercy Seat in Heaven -- without this YOU ARE STILL LOST. Until His blood is presented at the Mercy Seat in Heaven the sacrifice is not complete, it is not accepted by the Father. Until Jesus dies on the cross, is buried and rises from the dead -- until ALL of this transpires: you are still lost; your sins are still unpaid; you are still in your sins.

Scripture is very, very clear about this truth.
