Thanks . . . . . But, No Thanks

When presented with the Gospel, often times many Roman Catholics will quickly respond by saying, ""I don't need to be 'born again,' I'm a Roman Catholic." The reason for this learned response is that having been baptized as infants, they are raised to believe they already are Christians and that by partaking of the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist, they are to secure eternal life. Again, salvation hinges on their persistant performance of the Roman Church's sacramental duties, as opposed to the biblical mandate of grace by faith alone. Having elevated the breaking of bread to a position God never intended, the Roman Catholic Church has mistakenly deified bread into becoming a pseudo-Christ, whose pseudo presence is a substitution for the born-again experience, offering false hope in another Jesus.

Confused Catholic; many consider water baptism as being 'born again', ie, Catholic not needing infant baptism is unorthodox at the very least if not damnable and destined to be buried outside Catholic cemetery and sent to Limbo/Purgatory/Hell depending on politically correct flavour.

The nCCs have opposed the Biblical "mandate" that the bread and wine are the body and blood of Christ. The nCCs put their tradition over that of the word of God. Jesus had a few words to say about that, right?

Why do the nCCs ignore the clear teaching of scripture on this in favor of their tradition? Lol.

If nCCs believed that was clear teaching from the whole council of Scripture they would not ignore it.
you have misrepresented the issue AGAIN!

see "Strawman" argument

According to the nCCs, what is the highest authority for the Christian faith?

According to the nCCs the highest authority is Scripture:
Our Scriptures are not meaningless.
Our God is not impotent
Our God is not absent from His creation
Our Savior actually saves
Scripture is the highest authority.

Scripture says that the bread and wine are the body and blood of Christ and the nCCs say that they are not.

So if you insist that the bread and wine are not the body and blood of Christ to the point of creating a division with other Christians over the issue then how is scripture your highest authority?

and again!!!
Our Scriptures are NOT void of meaning

But your particular understanding of scripture isn't the highest authority. You don't have the authority to divide with other Christians over doctrinal issues based on your own personal interpretation of scripture otherwise scripture is no longer your highest authority - your personal interpretation of scripture now becomes your "highest" authority.

again with the Epistemology?

QUESTIONS---> Do you believe any thing is true that you know is false?
doesn't that make you your own highest authority?
does anyone believe any thing is true they know is false?

Epistemology apologetics is a dead end

You are dividing yourself from other Christians over this issue.

If India was the the greatest military power on earth: then Transubstantiation would be a just another footnote of early Church errors

Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church
It is one of the Saint Thomas Christian churches tracing its origins to the missionary activity of Thomas the Apostle.

Beliefs and practices
Their beliefs and practices before the arrival of the Portuguese (around 1498) as evident in the canons of the Synod of Diamper.
Malankara Church,
1.denied the doctrine of Transubstantiation.
2.maintained the spiritual presence of the body and blood of Christ in the sacrament.
3.condemned the adoration of images as idolatrous.
4.were not aware of the intercession of the saints.
5.were not aware of prayers for the dead.
6.had no knowledge of purgatory.
7.had no knowledge of extreme unction.
8.had no knowledge of auricular confession.
9.did not follow celibacy of the clergy.

are you asking me to proclaim something as true that I believe is false?
Would you do that?

Epistemology apologetics is a dead end

why not REASON through Scripture?
Defend your point of view: Have a reasoned response to the challenges instead of ignoring them

You said
"The wine is the new covenant and obviously went into effect with the words of Jesus at the Last Supper."
Scripture says...
The New Covenant
When did the new covenant go into effect? Take a swing! What is you answer?

Hebrews 9:
15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, (diathéké) so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. 16 For where a will (diathéké) is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established.17For a will (diathéké) takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive."

forgiveness of sin.

When was the penalty of sins paid for? Take a swing: What is you answer?

1 Corinthians 15:3
Christ died for our sins, according to Scriptures

1 Peter 3:18
Christ died for sins, once for all”

Hebrews 9:15
15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant

Isaiah 53:
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors

Propitiation (the appeasement of God’s wrath)

When was the propitiation made? Take a swing! What is you answer?

Romans 5:7-9
7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

Colossians 1:21-22
And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

Why do you fail to make the connection between one's relationship with Christ and the Sacraments?

Why do you fail to make the connection between Christ and the sacraments?

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man,
which built his house upon the sand:

And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
....................

But these speak evil of those things which they know not:
but what they know naturally, as brute beasts,
in those things they corrupt themselves.
.
These are spots in your feasts of charity,
when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear:
clouds they are without water, carried about of winds;
trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit,
twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars,
to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
