Infidels, Take A Brief Peek Into The Devotional Life Of We Bible Believers.

You've now read what God says, congratulations.

There most certainly is a test. everyone is graded on what they know and their fidelity to it.
Yes, the test is, in modern terms, referred to as karma. Or as the Bible puts it, "As you sow, so shall you reap."

Basically, that actions have consequences.

No, that is not the test, that is just a fact of life.

You reject what the Bible clearly says? All you are doing here is reinforcing my point that I can get different interpretations of the Bible in different churches.

Since there are so many different interpretations out there, and God has clearly said that He won't talk to me, then I am free to pick my own interpretation.

I pick "As you sow, so shall you reap." I believe that actions have consequences.

Is this your normal atheist apologetic?

Are you vibise by chance?

Good for you, we'll see how that works out for ya. It makes sense you extract what you like and ignore the rest.

I can get different interpretations of the Bible in different churches.

Yeah, that's the nature of Truth. It can't be pigeon-holed. Jesus Christ is rich and multi-faceted. I think He might have even revealed a smidgen of Truth to your beloved Buddha. He may have even condescended to locate it in your guy's navel, for contemplation purposes.

Is this your normal atheist apologetic?
I am not atheist. There are many more gods in my scriptures than in yours. You are making an incorrect assumption about my thinking.

Good for you, we'll see how that works out for ya. It makes sense you extract what you like and ignore the rest.
Yeah, I'm ignoring the bit about not allowing women to wear gold jewellery or pearls. (1 Timothy 2:9-10)

Guess I don't "belong to God".
Based on asll your posts to date, it most certainly looks like
you do not belong to God.

Since your eternal destiny is at stake here and incomprehensible pain,
you might want to read this passage from the New testament -- and
maybe learn something about Christianity that no one has told you about.

God’s Sovereign Choice
10Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father
Isaac. 11Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or badin order that
God’s purpose in election might stand: 12not by works but by him who calls
—she was told,
“The older will serve the younger.” 13Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

14What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15For he says to Moses,
“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
16It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

17For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might
display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens
whom he wants to harden."

End quote.
Romans 9:10-18

And. . .

Romans 11:17
"The elect obtained it but the rest were hardened."

Are you among the elect" Only God knows --but it most
certainly looks like you are not among the elect.

You clearly have no concern for your future well being.
So you can party on out to the end and see what happens.

None of the atheists here think this is true JAG, and you're not giving a reason to think it is. This includes the Bible.

So what is the point of telling me about his great "club" if I'm not chosen to be a member?

You too have been brought to the knowledge of the truth, just as we are told God desires.

What you do with it is up to you.
What to do with what?
Based upon my experience I obviously do not "belong to God". Can I force God to accept me?

What to do with what?
You stated you've "been there done that"

So if you figure out what you done and where you were at, you'll discover the what.
Based upon my experience I obviously do not "belong to God". Can I force God to accept me?
Every one and every thing belongs to God to do as He wills, so technically you do.

There is no need to force God to do anything. He has already done what you needed.

For you to accept it is what is required.

However if you decide to go toe to toe with God, good luck.

Our Lord Jesus commands we Christians to proclaim the good
news of the gospel to everybody. Why command that since God's
elect are the only ones that are going to be saved? Because we
humans cannot know who the elect are -- only God knows that.

There are two different viewpoints:
(1) Looking at election from God's viewpoint means that if the
Sovereign God has not elected you to receive the gift of eternal life,
and therefore sees you as one who will die in Gehenna --then there
is nothing that can be done to change that.

(2) Looking at election from our human viewpoint:
We cannot know who the elect are so we proclaim the good news
of the gospel to all that will listen. By the way, as long as you are alive
the door is open for you.

Here is the gospel in a nutshell -- it runs 1:23 minutes

John MacArthur is one of Christendom's pastors known for his
clarity and crisp to-the-point explanations.

This is short and very good.

If I am among the elect, then listening to Christians will not change me from elect to non-elect. Listening to Christians will have no effect.

If I am not among the elect, then listening to Christians will not change me from non-elect to. Listening to Christians will have no effect.

From what you say, listening to you will change noting of significance.

You really need a better message here: "Listen to what I am saying and it won't change anything."

Convince us of this; we already know that the Bible says it.

You can't come to the place where you believe in the Lord Jesus
as your Savior via empirical evidence. You must come to believe in
Jesus via faith - "without faith it is impossible to please God."

Christendom's most famous Bible verses makes this point:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
