Rule 12.7 "....Again, if you begin a new thread with a poster quote, you must link to the original quote in context."
What if the poster's quote one is trying to link in a new thread is broken, broken on CARM's end? The link in question here is internal to CARM and is over eight years old. At first the poster seeing their quotes, denied them but later saw that they are old quotes that no longer exists in CARM's database (There was a time when CARM did an update/upgrade on their website and most if not all of the old links stopped working) admitted they are his/hers but now demanded the link to the quotes.
It is good for one to provide the link to an original quote but If the link is broken on CARM's side, what is your advise in this case of Rule 12.7 "....Again, if you begin a new thread with a poster quote, you must link to the original quote in context." making the link a "Must". Remember the person being quoted already admitted the quotes are theirs.
Thanks!
