Well, King Saul, for one example, was insane, wasn't he?
God's people had many bad leaders but that didn't remove their status as God's Chosen People, did it?
Before Pentecost and after Pentecost. You believe Jesus established the bad tree? Evidence for Jesus supporting leaders who hide sin and not expose it, who allowed children to be molested and abused. Let us look at the biblical requirements for leaders. There are heaps of verses on leadership requirements and none of them require them to be sexually immoral sinners.

1 tim 3:1+

the saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? ...

1 Tim 3:10

And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless.

acts 20:28

Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

1 Tim 4:12

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

titus 1:9

He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.

Titus 1:7

For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain

If a leader is not born again and this does not mean marked with the false RC seal, then they cannot met the leadership requirements expected by Jesus in His leaders.

Your leaders are mainly unmarried so they fail that requirement. Their example is to lie, be sexually immoral, a lot are arrogant and greedy. They do not hold firmly to the trustworthy word, they do care for the flock. We can see that your some of your leaders have harmed and abused and molested children, some are rapists, some have children outside marriage which means probably more are because not all encounters would produce children. Throughout history others have been greedy, murderers. But the largest number are those who lie, hide the sin and do not expose it. They are the worse because they know it is wrong and hid it. Much worse.

This shows they are not born again and follow false doctrines.

And since when was the Catholic Church (Roman or otherwise) EVER been "one"??? It's as split, and internally divided just like all the other "VIsible Churches".
Still one Church.
Better to stay and work out our differences than to up and leave.

Hus tried. We know how that worked out. Luther tried--we know how that worked out, too. Trent fixed some abuses, but not about justification. Nor did the RCC do away with its many ungodly and unbiblical practices.

I went to Paul because your post is weak.
let's review your post 👆for future reference.... Here is my post #1 👇

Acts 5:12-16 Many signs and wonders were done among the people
at the hands of the apostles.
They were all together
in Solomon’s portico.
None of the others dared to join them, but the people esteemed them.
Yet more than ever, believers in the Lord,
great numbers of men and women, were added to them.
Thus they even carried the sick out into the streets
and laid them on cots and mats
so that when Peter came by,
at least his shadow might fall on one or another of them.

A large number of people from the towns
in the vicinity of Jerusalem also gathered,
bringing the sick and those disturbed by unclean spirits,
and they were all cured.
Youre just copying verses where Peter did something. Okay so what?
When one takes the blinders off, they will clearly see that Peter stood out amongst the other apostles.

"Clearly see"? See what? Peter did miracles, so did Paul. People flocked to Peter, they did so with Paul. In fact in Acts 14 the people thought Paul and Barnabas were gods. Whoever confused Peter with a god? You keep digging this hole but all youre doing is getting deeper. Show us where the disciples or apostles flocked to Peter. Then you might have a case. But we all know you won't because you can't.

Stay focused nondenom.... Peter and the apostles are mentioned. Why were they interested in Peter when all of the other apostles were present?
Peter did nothing the others didn't. Not sure why youre making such a big deal over this. Oh wait you think that makes peter pope. Whoever confused Peter with a god?

Peter had obviously displayed the gift of healing.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. (1 Cor. 12:7–11)
