God was not actually Incarnate outside of your lip service.

By your rendering, God was not actually Incarnate outside of your lip service.

Actually I believe Jesus IS the incarnation of God.

Whereas TRINITARIANS believe Jesus is the incarnation of ONE OF THREE who are God.

Just to clarify our views...

Is Jesus the incarnation of the referent of the word “God” in Genesis 1:1?

Genesis 1:1... In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

I say Yes.

If three people possess the attributes of God, one of them alone is enough to be defined as God.

They are not each 1/3 of God, because they all possess the complete attributes while maintaining their distinction.

And God crucifying a human mode of himself is actually pretty much the same thing as Trinitarians who only think the humanity of Jesus died.

God actually becoming a human being—the person of God himself, not a mode or nature only—is the ultimate sacrifice and humility.

You believe that in lip service ,yet your Christological science does not express that. Your theology expresses ,"Jesus is just man with the fully indwelling of the Father".

You mean the Person of of the Word???

Referent of the word implies created as any semi Arian Unitarian would.

Many fail to grasp that God would naturally comprehend (ie experience) death on cross in order to even say "God was Incarnate" .

Since neither of you were able to answer YES or NO to the question, I will rephrase it for you...

Did God (Genesis 1:1) become incarnate as Jesus?

Genesis 1:1... In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

I say Yes.

Yes, and we know this by the sending of the Son/Word.

Did you stop beating your wife YES OR NO?

Are you "incapable" of answering my SIMPLE yes or no question?!!!

Are you "incapable" of answering my SIMPLE yes or no question?!!!

Every question cannot be answered with a simple Yes or No.

Are you saying this is one of them...

Did God (Genesis 1:1) become incarnate as Jesus?

I can answer a simple Yes.

Did Mary give birth in Genesis ?

No.

But God WAS incarnate in Genesis.

Genesis 32:24... And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

incarnate (definition 1a): invested with bodily and especially human nature and form

What do YOU believe...

Was God incarnate in Genesis?

Trinitarians teach only one of the 3 persons took on a human nature, not infesting the other two with weak humanity.

But the definition of the word “incarnate” has no mention of time.

incarnate: invested with bodily and especially human nature and form

Just curious...

What adjective do you use for Jesus appearing as a man in the Old Testament, if not “incarnate”?
He did NOT appear AS a true man with a human nature, but in a temporary visible form.
Incarnate means becoming a TRUE MAN permanently.

Yes, and we know this by the sending of the Son/Word.

Just to clarify your Trinitarian view...

Is this what your answer means?

Yes, and we know this by God (Genesis 1:1) sending the Son/Word.

My question had specifically mentioned God (Genesis 1:1).
