The Spirit allows men to believe truth savingly, as He gives us a new heart;Edit
What aspect of man is made in the image of god?14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
No, it's only you who thinks this. No one agrees with you.Edit

Whatever this all means.edit
O.K.Edit
Because what you wrote isn't what you normally claim and what I responded to.edit
There are incommunicable attributes that belong to God alone....Omniscience, Omnipotence,Omnipresent His Divine Perfection in all things. What aspect of man is made in the image of god?
No, that's what YOU believe. Edit per modedit
He only does that through scripture.edit
No one is arguing against anything else.edit
Actually why do we call them "false beliefs" and "unjustified beliefs"; are you pretending that you don't know what "false" and "unjustified" means?
Actually that's "perfect" demonstration of how and why atheists have no idea of how and why the truth and reality is only known by believers and not unbelievers.
But there seems to be an incongruency in your answer. Your first post states that the natural man cannot receive things spiritually discerned:There are incommunicable attributes that belong to God alone....Omniscience, Omnipotence,Omnipresent His Divine Perfection in all things.
Man has communicable attributes......think of the fruits of the Spirit.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
.... yet your explanation of what the image of God in man is exactly that..... spiritual.14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Look up the word belief in the dictionary.
Dictionaries tell us what words mean. You don't know what the word belief means so you should probably look it up.I have never seen a dictionary try to make the case that; "false" and "unjustified" beliefs are real beliefs in reality. Dictionaries are not a instruction book in what is true and existing in reality. We have the Bible for that purpose.
Of course false and unjustified beliefs are real. People believe many things that are wrong and/or unjustified.edit
First, why would God give us the characteristics of His image that we cannot discern? But there seems to be an incongruency in your answer. Your first post states that the natural man cannot receive things spiritually discerned:
.... yet your explanation of what the image of God in man is exactly that..... spiritual.
First, why would God give us the characteristics of His image that we cannot discern?
Second, why did God make His spiritual image in man so effete and unimpressionable as to so easily be overstepped by man's nature? Do you we really have evidence then that God has power and any credible influence over nature, or is that just dogmatic and wishful thinking in the face of evidence that shows otherwise?
Did God give this world over to Satan? If so, why? How does this teach us the perseverance of love and His spirit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith?
God has perfect knowledge...He knows, and is not dependent on anyone.edit
