Tolerating the other side in a church

To preach the Gospel? Ok, I disagree.

     The Futility of Arminianism

I don't believe man's faith is instrumental in salvation but revealing salvation.

     The Futility of Arminianism

Agreed. Christ saved His people when He died. Faith reveals this. It's a good report.

Tolerating the other side in a church

I would keep teaching the children the Gospel until the pastors kicked me out. I would not attend a "church" that rejected God's Sovereignty in Salvation. But God is giving you an opportunity to preach truth to these children.

     The Futility of Arminianism

Have you read the black rock address? I've found the early "primitive baptists" are much different than modern ones. I agree much more with the hard shell or whatever they are called. For example, I do not consider Samuel Trott to be a hyper Calvinist, but modern day primitive baptists, yes.

     The Futility of Arminianism

I do believe the first sentence but not the second. All those who are in Christ will be taught of God before they die...I believe this is their way of lessening the offense of the cross, which compromises the Gospel?.

     The Futility of Arminianism

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Revelation 5:9 KJV Thank God for grace in Christ. By His blood all of Israel...

     The Forbearance of God

Can you explain the relevance to this OP? Do you believe forgiveness of sin happens outside the cross?

Is God angry with sin ? Since God is angry with sin why do Calvinist believe it was God’s sovereign plan that preordained sin ?

Yes. Below I have bolded the same word used in other verses. Acts 7 16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem. Galatians 1 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into...

     The Forbearance of God

What is God's forbearance? I believe forbearance is an allotted time for a debt to be paid. It is similar to being longsuffering. God's forbearance was from the time of Adam until Christ. He was forbearing with their sin until the death of the testator. What does "for the remission of sins...

Is God angry with sin ? Since God is angry with sin why do Calvinist believe it was God’s sovereign plan that preordained sin ?

Death=spiritual death. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1 Corinthians 15:50 KJV

Is God angry with sin ? Since God is angry with sin why do Calvinist believe it was God’s sovereign plan that preordained sin ?

I would like to hear about the doctrine of forbearance, specifically in Romans 2 and 3. Do you reject that God was forbearing in the sin of His people before Christ came to expiate sin and propitiate God's wrath? God has never hated those in Christ because He was forbearing with their sin until...
