LifeIn, there is a similar cross seen from the hiway outside of Amarillo, Texas. Various groups have tried to have it removed to no avail. Yours and the Amarillo are is a great tribute to the Lord and I pray He will allow both of them to stand until He returns.

My current profile picture is a photo I took while on vacation about ten years ago in southern Illinois. It is the Bald Knob Cross of Peace, 111 feet tall and originally completed in 1963. It can be seen from a great distance, and flight students in southern Illinois often use it as a landmark. It is an awe-inspiring sight.
