    The Book of Abraham

Back in the 17th century, when the KJV was translated, the word, "beside" was a synonym for "besides": From Webster's 1828 Dictionary: BESI'DE, preposition [be and side, by the side.] 1. At the side of a person or thing; near; as, sit down beside me, or beside the stream. 2. Over and above...

What I went through because of Christianity.

So you have exhaustive knowledge of all claims of miracles? Wow... Look who thinks he's god!

What I went through because of Christianity.

You seem very confused. "Cures" don't work by simply rubbing up a cured person to an uncured person. In the Bible, God creates miracles for his own glory, and He is in no way "obligated" to cure "everyone" who feels they "deserve" a cure for something. So your false dichotomy is proven false.

How does the LDS Church reconcile their 1st Article of Faith and selected quotes

I wasn't aware that you considered education to be "insulting". As a teacher myself, I'll try not to be offended. No, I'm pretty well aware of such things. That's a very novel interpretation. What scholars do you recognize who are allegedly of the opinion that Gen. 1:1 is simply an...

Still waiting for you to provide evidence for your claim.

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

Other than the fact that you're ignoring the rest of the entire New Testament? And you would be wrong. You're obviously a very poor mind-reader, so don't quit your day job. Wrong again. Nobody here is in "favour" of sinning. Did you ever come across the part where Jesus said, "Judge not"...

She didn't "revile" anyone. There is a saying, when you point a finger at others, there are three fingers pointing back at you. In your case, there are about a hundred fingers pointing back at yourself.

How does the LDS Church reconcile their 1st Article of Faith and selected quotes

Is the Mormon Bible missing verse 1? Gen. 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. To most people who have mastered elementary school English, this is saying: 1) God created the heavens; 2) God created the earth.

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

This is your second false claim about the Bible, based on your ignorance. And as usual, you provide no eivdence for your bankrupt claim. As it stands, while not an expert on the topic, I am fairly well read on textual criticism (the study of the history of the transmission of the Bible), and...

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

Okay, you brought up two points (neither of which you gave any evidence for). This is one of them, that the message of the Bible is "confusing". It is only "confusing" to those who refuse to read the Bible, and have some sort of animosity (which you definitely have). The OT tells the story of...

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

The dety of Christ is taught in the New Testament. So it predates "Catholicsm". I'm sorry for your ignorance of the Bible. I believe Isaiah, "mighty God". I believe John, "the word was God". I believe Thomas, "My Lord and my God!" I believe Luke, "the church purchased by God with His own...

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

Well, Israel never accepted Christ as Messiah, either. They're not a very reliable source in that regard, are they? Good news! We have God's word, the Bible. Wow. You seem to be besties with "the son of perdition!" All I know is that God's word clearly and repeatedly identifies Jesus as God...

     Tithing?

I guess you missed this post where I quote Paul saying it. You can apologize to Bonnie now. Why do Mormons disrespect women so much?
  14. Theo1689

     Tithing?

Well, your understanding is incredibly flawed, and therefore your comment is misleading. According to Paul (and therefore God), the attempt of adding works (or "law", or "commandments") NULLIFIES God's grace. They didn't have a 'saved condition" in the first place. Like I showed you earlier...

    I'm sad because a Christian doesn't approve

You mean like you hate Mormons? No, neither James, Janice, nor myself hate Mormons. But you do. You hate all Christians. You accept the Mormons' identification as Christians. Therefore, you hate Mormons. Why all the hate, US?
