Goodbye RayneBeau, and others. I wish you all the best of luck on your journey's. Peace, Landon

    The Roman Eucharist

We shouldn't make following Christ so dark, as to challenge one another's beliefs as if we're refining one another according to the Bible. That's not spiritually awakening, that's cult behavior. Neither is it spiritually awakening to try and force your dogmas on others. To live in the spirit...

    The Roman Eucharist

I get it, you use that, because a Catholic once argued saying there are thousands of denominations, and therefore sola scriptura is unreliable... I understand... I've heard it all. ...But I would never say that to you guys. Look, maybe we got off to a bad start. I read the sticky note at...

    The Roman Eucharist

...I don't know though, it just seems like anyone who blends all RC's together as like-minded has gone totally fanatical. Either that or it's being spiteful, considering Catholics are from every culture across the entire globe. But I get it. Without proving Catholicism wrong, some people...

    The Roman Eucharist

In fact, I met a JW over at that atheist website Religious Forums, whose entire faith was rooted in proving the Catholic Church wrong... It was sad, because without the Catholic Church, her faith had no purpose at all. It was actually worse than sad, it was pathetic. I lasted there about 7 or...

    The Roman Eucharist

I know what apologetics are. I was banned from Catholic Answers (the second time) for ridiculing their ignorant motto: "defending the faith". I learned all about "apologetics" about 12 years ago, Apologetics are about as useful as a lobotomy. You do nothing for the Lord when you do that.

    The Roman Eucharist

...But I won't spend much time here. No Catholic should, since this subform is solely dedicated to having non-catholics drill Catholics, and isn't meant for friendly discussion, or as a place where Catholics are welcome, but rather is designed for debate. I despise debate anymore... That was...

Good points. ...But I have to say, in regards to your last point, all men are sinners. So all are evil.

    The Roman Eucharist

We would have to ask God why He thought it was important to convey that biblical message to us - that we should eat his body and drink his blood, by using bread and wine... The Bible doesn't tell us what the merits are, it just says: "do this"...

    The Roman Eucharist

...And when Jesus says: "Do this in memory of Me", who is he talking to..? If only the Apostles, then why was that verse included in the Holy scriptures?

    The Roman Eucharist

@PeanutGallery, I was just curious why Jesus snapped off a piece of bread and told his Apostles: "This is my body"... Then he had them all eat it, in remembrance of Him.. ...Do you suppose that bread added something? Or was there no merit to Jesus doing that?

It adds nothing that I'm aware of.
