I've been called a papist b I've been called a papist in the past by evangelicals in the past. Infact I've been told that I repeat their doctrine verbatim. So I guess it depends on who you ask.

You Anabaptist are just as much a legalist as any Roman Catholic. Why should any Catholic leave their church and join yours? Certainly not because you believe in faith alone, cause you don't.

I always felt bad for my Mormon coworkers, especially the fathers. They always seem to work themselves to death just for a possible temple endowment.

Not only that it's downright pietistic and smack full of legalism. Still the question remains, if baptism doesn't do anything why do it in the first place?

If you are saved without a public proclamation why do you need to make one?
