“The Point Of No Return”… are you past it yet?

You failed to address the GAP…

In your view they made a "choice" to "receive it"

Your view states “they are regenerated upon choice to receive it"...

Why were they not regenerated before falling away?

Rathert disingenuous as there is no gap

and you still fail to address how it is those undegenerates received the word

Your theology and interpretations state that is impossible

Where does my theology or interpretation state false converts are "impossible"?

Another disingenuous attempt

Your theology insists the unregenerate cannot receive the word

Ask Matt Slick.

Ask JD Martin

Ask all your peers who assert 1Cor 2:14 teaches this

No. It can imply "compliance" or "going along with"

1Jn 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

I've seen parents shame their children publicly to the point of bring about repentance and "acceptance" of the Gospel. I've witnessed pastors wives come under conviction and be converted after "accepting" the Gospel decades earlier.

"Motive" is very difficult to discern in individuals. God knows. We don't. All we can do is patiently accept them.

Bizarre

Why can’t you account for the massive GAP in your theology?

In your view they made a "choice" to "receive it"

Your view states “they are regenerated upon the choice to receive it"...

Why were they not regenerated before falling away?

Read my lips

Because there is none

Helo those were never regenerated so there was no gap

Why can't you forthrightly address the issue

How is it that the unregenerate are able to receive the word when your theology states they cannot

Must you makeup falsehoods to avoid responding to the issue ?

Calvinists believe in Irresistible Grace which is a specific Grace God works in those purposed for salvation from before the world began. We believe that God appointed a time, within the timeline of creation, where the Holy Spirit would regenerate those purposed individuals such that they no longer perceive Christ crucified as foolishness but perceive him as the irresistible wisdom and power of God for salvation. Because of God’s gracious gift of change in perception Christ has become to us the Power that motivates us to endure to the end so as to be saved and inherit eternal life. Those purposed for salvation are acting out what God is working in them. This is how God saves his purposed people from beginning to end.

Provisionists also believe in a kind of an “irresistible point” but they can not exactly call it “Grace” because it is not a specific act of God but an act of man, on himself, in response to what God has graciously provided. Once they respond by bring themselves to “the choice” they are eventually rewarded with something they have conveniently named “regeneration” but they are not clear on its actual function.

Questions:

Are you now past “The Point Of No Return” or do you still retain your “free will” to reject Christ as foolishness?

If you are past “The Point Of No Return” are you now a “robot” or a “puppet” because you unable to “do otherwise”?
