10 killed at mass shooting at a Chinese New Year festival

Why should due process be denied?
Because the woman would be dead or the pregnancy would have run its course by the time the courts made a decision.
And adding a million cases to our court system is not doable.

And the fetus is not a person with the right to due process.

So you are now claiming the human reproductive process is a conflict of interests for some people. Facts dont care about their feelings. Bad luck
You need to look up "conflict of interest".
And yes, when the needs and lives of two entities are in conflict, one should take priority. In this case, the woman.

Several posts ago you said they were a,human life.

Your argument is akin to the old one of saying slaves were not people

And with due process both sides should be allowed to present arguments

How many women do you think seek abortions each year?
From Pew:

The CDC says there were 620,327 abortions nationally in 2020 in the District of Columbia and 47 states, a 1.5% decrease from 629,898 in 2019. Guttmacher’s national total for 2020 was 930,160, a 1.5% increase from 916,460 in 2019.

The figures reported by both organizations include only legal induced abortions conducted by clinics, hospitals or physicians’ offices, or those that make use of abortion pills dispensed from certified facilities such as clinics or physicians’ offices. They do not account for the use of abortion pills that were obtained outside of clinical settings.
So one million of actual abortions is not off, and further more I referred to women SEEKING abortions which would be much higher as some of those women will not manage to get an abortion.

Been through that with Temujin. Quite clearly its the same entity so you have no case to argue its not a person. Recently we saw that a women who caused her miscarriage on purpose was in breach of the Offense Against the Person Act. So even in law it can be, and is sometimes recognised as a person.

So.lets get this straight so we know what you mean. A woman has XX chromosomes and female anatomy, vagina and womb etc? Right?

Avoiding my question of how many woman are in immediate health danger.

You are attempting to divert

You need to look up "conflict of interest".
You need to tell us what on earth you imagine you are on about.

They arent i n conflict, its the human reproductive process, your feelings dont change that.
