2007 an article published in Canadia predicted warming would release CH4 hydrates from the tundra and could kill 4.5 billion in 5 years. You have many opinions but no actual evidence.
Thousands will die.
Millions will be displaced.
Ok. You could make the same claim about wars.
Got anything else?
I enjoy history too. When EVERYONE owned their own land(except for the slaves), and grew their own food! And now less than 2% of the population are into farming and have a monopoly on the food industry.....I enjoy history. Looking at how they shocked wheat, hauled it on horse drawn trailers and thrashed it in a steam powered thrashing machine.
High tech Mexicans (our German second cousins)
When I was a kid, I saw new John Deere tractors in Mexico. They could order them with steel wheels because of a lack of tire shops in the city.
Built in Germany because of high tariffs on imported machines from Iowa.
I dont need to. I understand the global economic system is as crooked as Enron. Now that I find out you worked with Enron. It's starting to make sense.lolYou still have not spent 50Cents and bought Samuelsons,Econ text book
And yet your religion relies on this not being true. Duh!Fear merchandising
All the people born before the last century are DEAD. Duh!
Nuclear is energy intensive in construction. 85,000 cubic yards of concrete were placed in the base and containment structures. (10,000 truck loads) Natural gas fired ovens to dehydrate gypsum to make concrete. That includes the sand hauled for the mix.The problems with nuclear waste disposal have been solved and relatively speaking nuclear energy is cheap. And the Earth has a way of cleansing itself and on any relative scale fossil fuels is vastly cleaner than the energy it replaced.
Just how inane can you get? Where did the wealth come from? Britain had large hardwood forests for making ships, it's an island so no expensive standing army. Easily accessible coal, iron, wood and water to drive the industrial revolution. A perfect geographical location to exploit the slave trade and dominate world exploration and colonialism. A stable social structure, avoiding the fashion for revolution.. All these contributed to the building of the British Empire, and all you can say is "wealth".Ya it was called WEALTH! It didn't "wane" they just moved their wealth to the USA
All nonsense. Have you seen the cost of energy? lol It's not low!! Initially the cost of energy was low because there was no demand for it.
Gaslighting^^^^You guys dont know what your talking about.
No, inflation is the expansion of the money supply. Production creates wealth and production is a function of automation which is a function of energy.I can say the same about you. What has increased wealth is the expansion of the money supply. Not cheap energy.lol
It's twice the amount in Europe because we're insisting they boycott Russia. Is that why it's twice the amount in Europe?
If this statement makes your day, knock yourself out. I'm glad I could've brightened your mood even in the slightest degree. With what you would like to do with energy prices, you can use all the brightness you can possibly get.Sorry. You dont know what your talking about.

No one died before the screed was published and no one died in 5 years.
WUWT posted it and gave us a laugh.
I don't believe you. This thread is not a vehicle for you to indulge in your outlandish fantasy life............. bringing engineering ignorance to the highest levels.
Our daughter has PhD in power systems. She is finishing an EE textbook. They calculate power costs on all projects.
Contractting engineers do cost studies all day long.' Every time 'renewable sources" are brought in, the costs go up.
The wealth came from Britain pillaging resources from it's common wealth countries. Mostly Africa and the oil states! And of course wealth from the Roman Empire.....Just how inane can you get? Where did the wealth come from? Britain had large hardwood forests for making ships, it's an island so no expensive standing army. Easily accessible coal, iron, wood and water to drive the industrial revolution. A perfect geographical location to exploit the slave trade and dominate world exploration and colonialism. You understand energy prices are based on what the capitalist can get away with charging(What the markets will bear), not what it's actually worth............. bringing engineering ignorance to the highest levels.

I did a few posts on large growth of M1 and M2 during covid lockdown. Aug 2020No, inflation is the expansion of the money supply.
You peddle socialism where gubment owns the means of production.I enjoy history too. When EVERYONE owned their own land(except for the slaves), and grew their own food! And now less than 2% of the population are into farming and have a monopoly on the food industry.....
Global warming psychos“an article published in Canadia [sic]”
Like your girlfriend nobody met that lives in Canadia?
“kill 4.5 billion in 5 years.“ you say?
Here’s what I found:
“Debunked: The Methane Monster
Even though a couple of Russian scientists have pushed this fear of a methane ‘burp’ [or monster] – is it a distraction from that country’s massive methane emissions from natural gas production and pipelines?”
Global warming may go on a last minute rampage. Maybe best to just stay at home and lock your doors, bar your windows, and turn your air conditioner on. If you live near the coast, head for high ground. Deaths due to drinking and driving will be nothing compared to this.
This story appeared in The Canadian January 8th, 2007, it’s been a countdown example of stupidity ever since. Unbelievably, it is still on their website. Note today’s date.
Watch the low achievers make claims. You're are famous for not gathering evidence.I don't believe you. This thread is not a vehicle for you to indulge in your outlandish fantasy life.

I'd like to make it more affordable. The more energy options, the more competition, and thus the more cheaper. Also I believe in protecting the environment. Who knows what kind of illnesses this pollution creates. Respiratory illnesses for sure, possibly even cancer......If this statement makes your day, knock yourself out. I'm glad I could've brightened your mood even in the slightest degree. With what you would like to do with energy prices, you can use all the brightness you can possibly get.
The means of production is owned by the public. The government just manages it in a true socialist society. You peddle socialism where gubment owns the means of production.
I doubt you will ever understand how the psychology of socialism hinder MOTIVATION
They had to overcharge for their produce to pay for it, no? A socialist government would supply them free.So I have pictures of harvestors 6 very large combines in a row cutting our wheat. The combines are 40 feet wide. Less labor required.
Again. You dont know what your talking about. You can't produce anything without money to pay for labor.
Socialism/comunismThat is unless you have slaves!
Also fiat money cannot be affected by inflation that is not tied to real value(Like Gold).
You are not sharp enough to understand the velocity of turnoverAnother way to increase money supply was to mine more gold and silver!
But if your currency is not fiat(like the US currency) and backed by debt that is backed by gold? Than yes. Inflation can play a part.
Also if you have less supply and more demand, that can also inflate prices.
I noticed more than 20+ years of "quantative easing" did not cause inflation in America(since it was used for corporate welfare).
As soon as they gave free money to the public(covid relief), they needed to recuperate it, so they inflated the economy to get all the money back.
I'd like to make it more affordable. The more energy options, the more competition, and thus the more cheaper.
rAlso I believe in protecting the environment. Who knows what kind of illnesses this pollution creates. Respiratory illnesses for sure, possibly even cancer......
