They were part of the discussion and affirmed the JDDJ.

The "tell" or what exposes what types of things had to be done to produce the JDDJ is that Gerhard O. Forde, a seminary prof of the ELCA, had his chair removed from the table. Approve or disapprove of his views and writings it is a sad commentary on the process and the finished product.

Why was he removed? I didn't have time to read the entire article.
I didn't see Forde mentioned in that fine article (Thanks for the link.), but apparently he just didn't have the vision they wanted.

Btw, an LCMS Preus wrote a book on the JDDJ. His most memorable observation to me was that it was an equivocation on equivocation.

For what it is worth, the Christforus.org site is loaded with informative and helpful articles, sermons, etc., written in such a way that most people will easily understand.
