Two girls in Olso, Norway, have started Somnium Animation Studios and showcase their talents with this simple 7 minute video called "Beloved". The story is very simple. A girl helps an old lady carry her groceries and gets invited to share a meal. But there is so much that can be read into the behavior. Is the girl homeless? Why is she sitting alone on a winter evening? Why did the old lady's grown children cancel their visit? From the girls reaction to being given a gift, it seems that there is more to the story, and we can use our imagination to fill in the details.
