Alex Jones lays it out...plain and clear.

to be fair, the right-wingers on this forum are much more anti-intellectual and radical than any Republicans or Evangelical Christians I know in real life.
This is absolutely true. I try to make it clear that I recognize this, but I think I fail more often then not.

No one intelligent cares what Alex Jones thinks or says.

This is because the goal of his show is to sell you ****.
As is the norm here, personal attacks instead of facts prevail.

I am not a fan of Alex Jones, he is far too extreme for my beliefs. Nevertheless, if it looks like a duck, it quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck.
Who said this? "Never let a good crisis to go to waste."?

I say that the ballot box is going to change things, very quickly.

Thurgood Marshall was fond of saying "A cold wind blows". It's true.

But to be fair, the right-wingers on this forum are much more anti-intellectual and radical than any Republicans or Evangelical Christians I know in real life.

I had similar thoughts this evening.

In Germany, there is a parallel right-wing trend where online media producers deliberately dissociate themselves from mainstream media to provide alternative news*. Just like our right-wingers here, they intermingle pandemic news "with already-established topics — climate change, refugee issues, and doomsday fantasies together".

"Media outlets that spread such theories are anything but naive about what they're doing. Platforms like Russia Today Germany or the right-wing magazine Compact carry out targeted propaganda."
