Below we know from Scripture which clearly states that: God Grants Repentance !

Acts 5:31
God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior, in order to grant repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.

Acts 11:8
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

2 Timothy 2:25
with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

Doctrine aside with both prevenient/irresistible grace I believe by the definition of those words (not the doctrines) that both are absolutely true and definitive in scope.

And I use them both in the biblical sense of Gods work with those whom He has predestined/elected to salvation. In Johns gospel when we read all those given to the Son by the Father will come and those who come are the same ones who have been drawn and will not be cast out and raised on the last day.

John 6:37, Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away.
John 6:39, And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.
John 6:44, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day."
John 6:65, "And He was saying, ‘For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.’"

John 6:37,39,44,65 summarized below :

1- Everyone given to the Son by the Father will come
2- Those who come are never driven away
3- Those given to Him are never lost
4- Those given will be raised on the last day
5- No one can come unless the Father draws them
6- No one can come unless its granted by the Father
7- Its the Fathers will that none are lost that are drawn and come.

hope this helps !!!

What's the difference between 'God granting' and 'God meticulously decreeing'?
word it however you want and come up with every word you want defined but the end result is EVERYONE the Father gives to the Son will come. The end result is the same whether God grants or decrees it, one thing is a guarantee- it will come to pass.

Then we are left with whom does God grant to come?

In those verses “grant repentance,” or “give repentance,” is used idiomatically to mean grant salvation through repentance. The word “repent” (including it’s various derivatives) occur around 60 times in the KJV. Apart from those three instances, in every other instance it is used with a meaning that is exactly the opposite what you like to read into those. Here are some examples:

Mark 6:

12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

Luke 5:

32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Acts 2:

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, . . .

Acts 17:

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Acts 26:

20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

In these verses people are effectively commanded to “repent,” with the obvious implication that the choice is theirs whether to do so or not. When 57 verses in the New Testament say one thing, and three verses appear to be saying the opposite, I go by the 57, and interpret the 3 to harmonize with the 57, not the other way around.

Nice “ spin” but the OP makes it clear that God gives/grants repentance leading to salvation.

You just proved repentance precedes regeneration (being made alive)

for repentance is unto life

Yes God grants repentance and faith both by the word

God granted Cornelius and the gentiles repentance unto life by sending Peter with a gospel message to them

You did not address the fact that repentance was unto life

repentance precedes regeneration

BTW is is the method of drawing

John 6:45 (KJV)
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

God draws through his word

Nope Gods draws by His spirit via regeneration.

Actually:
2Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Correct, Paul is speaking of the repentance that comes from God, that is accompanied by godly sorrow (7:9) and worldly grief that isn't akin to godly sorrow leading to repentance. The former is a repentance not to be repented of.
Ditto !
