Do you think it is reasonable to execute someone for cursing his father?

As an atheist I find this horrifying. The punishment is out of all proportion to the crime. I believe the US justice system agrees with me, and does not even consider cursing your parent to be a criminal offence, let alone one that deserves a death sentence.

How does this show that people who do not believe in any gods relish inequity? I am not following you. This is just a list of the more horrific ways the Christian God can punish people for things like cursing your mother or having sex while a woman is on her period. It shows that God is pretty draconian and capricious - but I do not see how this shows atheists as, well, anything.

Perhaps he thinks iniquity means discerning and morally well-grounded.

    B) "the other view says that it was carried out much as one thinks and, as seems to be specified in Shoftim (17:7), the first stones are thrown by the two witnesses."
  2. Serefahburning
"This was done by melting lead, and pouring it down the throat of the condemned person."
  3. Heregdecapitation
This is also known as "being put to the sword" (beheading).
  4. Chenekstrangulation
"A rope was wound around the condemned person's neck, and the executioners (the witnesses) pulled from either side to strangle the condemned person." The other document describes: "It was accomplished by having the convict stand in mud up to his or her knees, after which a pair of scarves were wound around the neck and then pulled in opposite directions by two witnesses."
in the Communist atheist theocracies, how did they kill 94 million?

Firing squads?

Communists under atheeism killed innocent people

Are other Christians on board with this?

Do you guys think we should execute any kid who curses his mother?
None do.

All Christians recognize that biblical morality is flawed, but only the courageous/faithful ones are willing to admit this to an atheist.

Irrelevant to the OP. How does the OP show that people who do not believe in any gods "relish iniquity"?

Not that I wish to indulge in any of these but outside of possibly Muslim countries I think I'm pretty safe.

Mostly by mismanagement induced starvation. Communists under Communism killed innocent people.

IOW biblical morality is just man-made since it wasn't morally wrong for Abraham to have a sexual relationship with his sister Sarah or to commit adultery with Hannah, or for Abraham to kill his son as a blood sacrifice.
