Belief comes before regeneration, salvation

It is not a statute

Why did you not address the question you asked

Now who inherit the promises the new covenant?

Who receives the Holy Spirit according to the following verses

John 7:38, 39; Gal 3:2, 5, 14:Eph 3:17; Acts 2:38
The elect, the covenantal faithful in Christ. Those chosen from the foundation of the world. Those given to the Son by the Father. His sheep who here His voice. You get the idea. Or.... maybe not

Why do you Still have not address these

Hello
See my last post. You asked who. I answered.

The elect

The elect

Seriously? <sarcasm>
There is no mention of the elect in any of these verses

John 7:38, 39; Gal 3:2, 5, 14: Eph 3:17; Acts 2:38

want to answer according to what the verses do say rather than what they do not say

The elect, ONLY, will receive the Holy Spirit, mkay?

You ignorantly saying I believe that, of course.

So then the promise to be chosen to holy and blameless is for believers not unbelievers

PS that post was meant for reformedguy

but let you run with it

So before the foundation of the earth God chose believers in Christ to be holy and blameless

Your assertion: What's more nutty than you [Howie] believing the faithful in Christ speaks of unbelievers.

Your post does not reflect your sssertion.

Dishonest much?

What did you not understand?

I thought I was addressing reformed guy

So before the foundation of the earth God chose believers in Christ to be holy and blameless

can you address that?

It's address is Eph 1:4
Sorry Eph 1:4

does not state he chose the elect to be holy and blameless

It does state he chose us to be holy and blameless .....................................................

The us being the faithful in Christ from verse 1 - believers
