We have to wonder when voters in CA will have enough of Dem rule. Now that Trump has refused to bail out local Dem mismanagement of tax funds. Federal dollars to offset costs for sanctuary cities in violation of federal law cannot be guaranteed any more. And that is why people are voting for Trump. Let the Dem run hellholes swing and people will get a taste hell and it may not be dismissed so easily as religious belief or fantasy. Perhaps better to rely on the star charts as opposed to Dem politicians, i.e. our pals on the left or white collar criminals who make drug addicts look like boy scouts, who promise the moon and delivery misery and a realization of constantly being ripped off. Better start voting Repub for a little relief. Run that Dem mayor from Portland out. Law and order never goes out of style and that is why Dem politicians may be as obsolete as Dinos.

Now K Harris, Biden's clean up 2nd banana actually can be useful as opposed to just another empty suit. (Harris is cleaning up after Biden in the debate last night. Joe really did not mean what he actually said)) Trump thundered last night. Trump made Biden look like a know nothing. Esp with the 15 dollars federal minimum wage mandate all the myopics love so much. Trump reminded everybody, including Joe, who loves play Santa, that sort of thing comes with ugly consequences when applied leading to job loss, reduction to part time where health insurance is lost. A lot of these are starter jobs for teens etc. Let the little darling work as much as possible. Best education ever holding down a job and learning responsibility and dealing with the public, teamwork etc, and getting a modest paycheck to boot. These kids will learn life skills by flipping burgers. It is win/win for everybody.
Half the min wage earners are in homes where household income is over 40,000.

Min wage workers are expensive. They require a more expensive supervisor.

40 K is not a lot these days. I am surrounded by those making more. They are middle class. They have to pay the freight for the poor. Esp health insurance. Higher out of pocket and lower coverage. It was worse under Obama where having insurance was in effect equal to not having except for expense. Health insurance was on paper and not in reality. Have to make them high deductibles before the insurance kicks in and the payments have to be made on time. That way the poor can get theirs for free at the expense of the middle class. The uppers can usually afford to cost increases. Obamacare, ''you don't have to leave your private insurance'' What a joke. We must love believing lies from politicians.

Have a niece who runs McDs or BK. One of them. She does all right and yeah kids are a pain. They are no shows and all kinds of problems but the wheat has to be separated from the chaff. There are some responsible.

Our legal system ends up unevenly applying justice and failing to prohibit the corrupt practices that most threaten sound government. Think about it: failing to disclose a $2,700 campaign contribution, or making a quid pro quo deal for that donation, will land a politician in legal trouble. But what about a multibillion-dollar private equity deal involving a family member and foreign government? While the $2,700 contribution must be disclosed by law, the billion-dollar deal does not need to be reported. And while trading favors for a campaign contribution can get you sent to jail, the legal system essentially says about a private equity deal, “Nothing to see here. Move along.”...

the action of smashing a company or an industry is often wrapped in a benevolent light. The very act of smashing an unpopular industry is presented to the public as a virtue, not as a vice. This, of course, can obscure the larger crony pattern. As we will see, in recent years the federal government has smashed a variety of industries—coal, for-profit colleges, oil companies, payday lenders—while politically connected financiers who are close to those doing the smashing have then swooped in and bought up those same companies at a deep discount. The politician gets to claim a virtuous act done in the public’s interest,

All anyone has to do is watch the targeted stock prices drop due to vilification and then buy low and watch it rise and make a clean profit. I can't believe how crooked these people are in Washington and how they get away with it.
