Cardinal Pell and Vatican Financial scandals.

It is great that Pell has left Australian shores. The bulk of people do not miss him. It is interesting to see he thinks he is so important that another Cardinal would pay witnesses a million dollars to besmirch his name. Hmm that happened when he gave his evidence to the Royal Commission when he clearly showed he ignored child abuse at Ballarat.

The same cardina Berrciul is meant to be involved with another Vatican Financial scandal.

The RCC claims it is strong on morals and truth. It seems it is a major fail at the highest levels. It does not have a passing grade.

Cardinal Pell didn't raise the issue of the bribe. That came from a colleague of the Roman Cardinal in question co-operating with the investigation. And yes it is a disgraceful scandal involving the Vatican finances that the last few Popes have attempted and failed to weed out.

Really we in this country were constantly being told his enemies (within the church) were out to get him. Throughout the whole Pell saga, it was constantly being brought up and he did not stop the rumors. So much for loving your neighbours, that RCs like to talk about. This point was raised of bribes was brought up when he went back to Rome.

Who cares?
If people were out to get Pell, then they certainly succeeded.

For the sake of the integrity of Australia's judicial system, I really hope that the wicked forces who falsely accused Pell are named and shamed.

On 10 December, The Catholic Weekly is joining with The Mustard Seed Bookshop to launch a remarkable book: Keith Windschuttle’s searing indictment of the lynch mob-driven sham which led an innocent man to be convicted of the vilest crimes. What went wrong – and how? The Persecution of George Pell is a damning indictment of how the most fundamental principles of Australian democracy, criminal justice and truth in journalism were chucked out the window of Australian life.

Oh he was not innocent at all. If you listened to him at the Royal Commission he ignored what was going on, washing his hands so he is guilty. He was found guilty in two courts. He supported paedophile priests when they went to court. He deliberately destroyed Ellis to save the church money. He is guilty of a lot of things.

The courts in Australia were very even handed in dealing with him. They did not allow newspapers to comment on the trial, they did not allow anything about him to be published. There was no mob-driven sham and there were as many pro Pell supporters trying to rig the outcome outside the courts.

The police did not bring all accusations against him to court. So if they were out to get him as you so falsely claim they could have brought forward a lot more evidence and cases.
