Why can't I get a straight answer?
All of us non-rc's have been asking this for months. Not giving straight answers is a sure sign of an institution is not what it claims to be.
Why can't I get a straight answer?
Do you think that if Roman Catholics were taught to better understand what the Roman Catholic Church actually teaches and believes, would they be better Roman Catholics?Hmmm... Respect, huh?
Gen 3:17 ISV He told the man, “Because you have listened to what your wife said, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground because of you. You’ll eat from it through pain-filled labor for the rest of your life."
We still have weeds and thorns; we still struggle to bring in crops, ergo, the ground is still cursed. Great way to show respect, guys, considering that God says:
Exo 12:10 ISV Don’t leave any of it [the Passover lamb] until morning, and whatever does remain of it until morning you are to burn in the fire.
Don’t bury it, don't throw it on the midden-heap, don't keep it for the next day's meal: burn it as you would a sacrifice.
And the Roman Catholics believe that they are honoring God by following their church's complete, outright rebellion against what He has so plainly stated.
Depends on how you define "better Roman Catholics". I'd say that after 1500+ years, the RCC is content with what the average RC believes. Come to church, partake in the rites, donate, go home. At least in the USA.Do you think that if Roman Catholics were taught to better understand what the Roman Catholic Church actually teaches and believes, would they be better Roman Catholics?
and nobody walked away at this hard saying ?Or why Catholics don't worship the doors of their church. After all, "I Am the door," Jesus said – without announcing that He was speaking symbolically. No, more teaching on what the RCC believes is much too dangerous.
Then why couldn't a stranger "eat thereof"? Nor could a foreigner, hired servant, uncircumcised person eat. Why not?Arch;
it wasn't eating the Passover that protected them;
it was the Blood over the """"Doorpost and the two side posts""""""
of their homes
Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families,and kill the passover.22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop,and dip it in the blood that is in the bason,and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason;and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians;and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts,the Lord will pass over the door,and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
There shall no stranger eat thereof:
A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
---------- But ----------
But every man's servant that is bought for money,
when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord,
let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it;
and he shall be as one that is born in the land:
for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
Paul knew what he was speaking of when he explained the Feast too the Bride
and that wasn't the RCC
