John 3:14–16
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 4:42
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
1 Corinthians 15:3–11
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
2 Corinthians 5:14–15
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:18–21
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
1 Timothy 2:4–6

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Not if ones gospel has men unconditionally reprobated before the foundation of the world
No, Epistemologically the Good News is always Good News. To say otherwise, is like saying God is not always Good; it just doesn't follow...

Suicide ~ by ReverendRV

1st Corinthians 13:2 NIV
; If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Have you ever felt like nothing; a ‘nobody’? These days so many things can get us down. There are bullies, bad marriages, rivals, etc; we can feel as if the whole world doesn’t want us. We long to be respected, appreciated and Wanted; we long to be loved. When I was younger I thought that I was the most unlovable person in the world. My self esteem was so low that I was terribly Introverted. This caused me to be emotionally crippled and I often couldn’t even handle a harsh word, minor criticism, or even a gentle fun poke at me. I took it as a judgment against me, and I perceived it as if I were Unacceptable. I never really considered Suicide; but Satan whispers…

The Daily News has reported that 1 in 6 teens have seriously considered Suicide, and 1 in 12 Teens have attempted Suicide. The Atlantic Wire reports that 18% more Veterans died from Suicide than from combat last year. The Suicide Prevention Resource Center estimated that between 30 and 40% of LGBT youth, depending on age and Genders, have attempted Suicide. Bloomberg said that because of the financial crisis, the annual Suicide rate of people 35 to 64 years old rose 28 percent from 1999 to 2010, more than any other age group. But the most common reason people have for committing Suicide is the thought that ‘no one loves me’…

I started going to Church and heard that God has given us the Ten Commandments to show us we are Sinners. I knew that I had Lied and that I had Stolen. I knew that I had committed Adultery by Lusting, and committed Murder by Hating. I was guilty of not loving the Lord God with all my Heart, Soul, Strength, Mind and Body. But I read in the Bible of how God could Love even one such as myself. As someone who thought he was the most unlovable person in the world, I was treating God the very same way that I felt; unlovable! There was a time I decided to follow Jesus Christ and trust him as my Savior from Sin, and make him my Lord. But the real freedom came a few months later when I realized that if Jesus has judged me as acceptable, then everyone else in my life was just a Critic; and you know what people say about Critics! This is when I became a new and free man! Find acceptance in Jesus Christ; the Lover of your Soul…

The Bible says Love does no harm; don’t harm yourself. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. If you don’t know where to find Love, then look to Jesus Christ; there is no greater Love than one man lay down his life so that another may live! ~ You KNOW that dying can fix your problems; but you don’t have to lay down your life to Rest in Peace. Jesus laid down his Life, so we can have Rest and Peace right now; without you having to leave this world to find it! Since you know giving up your Life can make a difference in your situation, also know that because he laid down his Life for YOU, it made a difference too; Death is satisfied! ~ For God so Loved the world he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting Life. We’re Saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ, without Works lest we should Boast. Jesus Christ Atoned for our Sins by dying on a Bloody Cross. He was buried, but he arose from the dead, Conquering Death and the Grave. ~ Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and The ‘Life’; God is Love! Because He Lives, we shall Live also…

Psalm 17:7 NIV; Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.

The Gospel is always Good News brother...

Are you saying that like a Hydrogen Atom stops being Hydrogen when Nuclear Fission occurs, the Gospel could ever stop being Good News??

So Paul was wrong when he said some Gospels were "another gospel"?

Paul didn't you hear about the hydrogen atom???!
There's only one Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it's always Ontologically Good News brother...

So I can only give examples Paul would know about? Okay, God does not change, neither does the Gospel...

Only the Elect Eph. 1:4 were made holy and without blame before God [not appointed unto wrath] because Christ was made their Covenant Head and Surety before the foundation of the world Heb. 7:22, so therefore all the sins they committed in Adam their natural head, along with all the sins they would ever commit as they're born in Time have been imputed to Christ 2 Cor. 5:19,21; Ps. 32:2.

Titus 1:1-2 1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2 n hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Yes, God promised The Elect Eternal Life before the world began:

2 Tim. 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

2 Thess. 2:13-14 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Elect of God , or the Election of Grace Rom. 11:5 are also the Israel which Salvation was Promised to: The People Christ came to Save Mat. 1:21, from all the nations of the earth.

Dan. 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Is. 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Ps. 148:14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

Deut. 7:6-7 6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Now in contrast, are those that make up the world that God did not love:

No, they don't, and it's not good news for all men.

Calvinists preach deception, unless they preach like an Arminian.
The Gospel isn't good news to all men. Such a notion is the invention of man and isn't supported in scripture.

"But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ." 2 Corinthians 2:14-17

Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. (Luk 2:10 NKJ)

Yea.

Looks like I just made that up, good call there.
The Gospel, as I shared and proved with Scripture, isn't good news to all men and you cannot refute the text so you pit Scripture against Scripture. That the gospel isn't good news to all men isn't only proven by the text I've given, one could also look at how men reject it, hate it, ridicule it, call it foolish 1 &c; Corinthians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 1:18.

Part of your agenda and issue is you need to refute truth in order to maintain your hatred of it. Therefore you misuse Scripture to support you, not truth.

The text you misapplied is referencing all people, for example every kindred, tongue, tribe, nation, not every single person who has ever lived. Yours is perpetually a 2 Timothy 2:15 failure.

preacher4truth

Well-known member
So you think "an aroma of death" to those who reject the Gospel is a more convincing Scripture than literally saying "good news to all people."

And then you accuse ME of twisting the Scripture. That's rich.

Someone who is willing to twist a less clear verse into their "proof text" and then twist a more clear text and blame the other person for twisting, is not interested in honest dialogue.

Oh, look.

The "house" wins again.
Not only are you projecting, but you've failed to interpret the texts I've given correctly. Then you go ad hominem.

The bottom line is the Gospel isn't good news to every single person as proven from Scripture which you are attempting to refute with texts you do not fully grasp.

Feel free to get in your last word.

Again, you refuse to discuss the meaning of these terms, and you simply ASSUME a meaning that supports your false theology.
