Cookie redirect problem

Whenever I log in I can use the site for a few minutes, then responses slow way down until I get timeout and an Too Many Redirects, Check Cookies error. I've tried all the different cookie setting including accept all cookies on two different computers and three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) with the same results. Is there something I can do differently to stop the problem? Or is a setting in the database regarding my account set wrong?

It did it again. ("Too many redirects") There was a time a few months ago when I got that super long delay and error message and was unable to log in for 3 or 4 months continuously. Eventually something got fixed and I could log in again. This time a single "reload" worked and I was able to log in. I'm posting this now in case this turns into another 3 or 4 month thing. (P.S.: Access to the forum when not logged in worked perfectly. No delays. No error messages. The problem is only when logged in.)
