Daniel 9:24-27 Seventy Literal Weeks Explained?

FYI, Dr. Harold Hoehner refined Sir Robert's work that used 445 BC by mistake for the starting point ( see Dan.9:25 ) of the decree issued to Nehemiah ( see Nehemiah chapter Two ) by King Artaxerxes on Nissan ( March/ April ) in the 20th year of his reign! There was not 2 Sabbaths in Nissan of 32 AD and the scriptures say that there were 2 Sabbaths the week Christ got crucified! The correct starting point is Nissan of 444 BC and that gives us Nissan ( March 30 ) Psalm Sunday 33 AD for His triumphal entry riding a donkey ( see Luke 19:28-40 ) on the 69th seven of Daniel! Then just 4 days later AFTER that 69th seven ( as Dan.9:26 says after the 7+62=69 sevens ), Christ gets cut off by Crucifixion on Thursday Nissan ( April 3rd ) of 33 AD! Then on early Sunday morning on Nissan ( April 6th ) He is Raised from the dead ( Easter Sunday ) after staying 3 days & nights in the bowls of the earth ( preaching to the saved OT saints in the Paradise side of Hades - see Luke 16:19-26 ) - like Jonna spent in the belly of a whale! Then those OT saints came out of their graves AFTER Jesus came out of His FIRST as per Matt.27:52-53!
You are using the month Adar in 33AD. April 6 of 33AD is a Monday. March 6th is a Friday. It cannot be 33AD, because the days are all wrong. Try 30AD.

Daniel's future 70 weeks or 490 literal days has absolutely nothing to do with 33 AD

I am curious what you believe...

How old was Jesus when he was crucified?

I think 33 1/2.
Since we do not know His EXACT date of birth ( Winter- Dec.25th is not correct, He was born sometime in early Fall ), then yes I believe He was somewhere in-between 33 & 34 years old when He got cut off ( Dan. 9:26 ) or Crucified on Thursday April 3rd of 33 AD ( using our Julian dating system - Solar year of 365.25 days in a year )!

No, I used Nissan ( March/April on Jewish Prophetic dating ) and Psalm Sunday was March 30th in 33 AD on the Solar calendar! The Cut off ( Crucifixion - Dan.9:26 ) was on Thursday April 3rd on the Solar calendar! The resurrection was on April 6th of 33 AD or Easter Sunday on the Solar calendar! Case Closed!

If you believe Jesus was crucified in the Spring of AD 33..

And you believe Jesus was between 33 & 34 years old when he was crucified...

And you believe Jesus was born in the Fall...

That means you believe Jesus was born in the Fall of 2 BC (33 1/2 years before the Spring of AD 33).

Correct?

Whereas most place Jesus’ birth before Herod’s death a couple years earlier.

Not sure what you mean! If He was born in 2 BC then He would be between 34 and 35 years old in 33 AD!

It is okay.

I think you just forgot there is no year zero and that it is only 1/2 year from the Fall of one year to the Spring of the next.

Remember, you said Jesus was born in the Fall and died in the Spring.

So from the Fall of 2 BC to the Spring of AD 33 is 33 1/2 years...

No, I did not forget that there is no zero year! I forgot the 6 months from Spring to Fall! So yes He was about 33.5 years old when He got cut off!

But if you say Jesus was crucified in the Spring of AD 33...

And you believe he was about 33.5 years old at that time...

Then you believe Jesus was born in the Fall of 2 BC.

Correct?

Maybe! It depends on the dating system you use ( Prophetic -360 days in a year or Solar - 365.25 days in a year )! Daniel's 70 sevens of years uses the prophetic year of 360 days! So the 483 Prophetic years ( the first 69 sevens ) from Nisan of 444 BC ( when the Decree was issued to Nehemiah by King Artaxerxes on Nisan in the 20th year of his reign ) to Psalm Sunday is actually 476 Solar years! With no Zero year, that would be March 30th ( Nisan ) of 33 AD that He rode in on that Foal of a Donkey ( as per Luke 19:28-40)! Then 4 days AFTER that 69th ( 7 sevens + 62 sevens = 69 sevens ) seven ( As Dan.9:26 tells us ) on Thursday He was cut off on Nisan ( April 3rd, ) of 33 AD! Then 3 days later on EARLY Sunday morning on Nisan ( April 6th ) of 33 AD, He rose from the dead!

Your claim has absolutely nothing to do with the "Future" 70 weeks of Daniel, that will start at the "Future" command to build Jerusalem

No “maybe” about it.

Jesus HAD TO BE born in the Fall of 2 BC or else at least one of your other statements is FALSE...

The starting point is when that Decree ( to rebuild & restore Jerusalem - Dan.9:25 ) was issued to Nehemiah by king Artaxerxes in the 20th year of his reign ( Nisan of 444 BC ).

He was cut off EXACTLY on Nissan ( April 3rd ) of 33 AD!

He was somewhere in-between 33 & 34 years old when He got cut off ( Dan. 9:26 ) or Crucified on Thursday April 3rd of 33 AD

So which of your statements is FALSE?

No, I think it was in the fall of 4BC. The Cross was on April 5th of 30AD, Nisan 14.
