Does God love everyone ?

Now back to the point of the OP which has yet to be refuted .

Yes God indeed loves everyone as we read in Scripture below.

John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Hebrews 2:9
But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

Titus 3:4
But when the kindness and the love of mankind ofGod our Savior appeared

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 Timothy 2:4
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord does not delay his promise, as some regard “delay,” but he is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

1 John 2:2
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

2 Corinthians 5:14
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.

hope this helps !!!

Tried that ......

Did not work.

They put the marching band on the field.

They refused to yield.

Got a few bruises from that one.
Your "That Guy"? Ok back on track. So the marching band was not real impressed with you. But the good news is Jesus loves you, always has always will. It's who He is.

And R&B too
Ok lets cut thru the chase. God love the whole Music culture, even Rappers because He loves everyone.

The Father SENT Jesus to bless us by turning us from our iniquities
Acts 3:26, "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."

The Father SENT His Son to redeem us from the curse of the law.
Galatians 4:4-5, "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."

God SENT His Son to make possible a new power in the hearts of men, a power to enable him to fulfil the righteousness of the law.
Romans 8:3,4, "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Are you a Universalist?
How does John 3:16 where God loves the world make a person a uni v ?

Paul killed 100’s of Christian’s .

And we were once all children of the devil as unbelievers as per 1 John and Ephesians 2

Any other questions
You KNOW that all have sinned, even the elect. You know that the elect would need no Savior or repentance if everyone is elect.

That does not mean that ALL will be saved.

John 3:16 says BELIEVERS will be saved.

Scripture makes salvation available to all , every man , everyone, the whole world , one died for all as we read below . God indeed loves everyone as we read in Scripture below.

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6

Some serial killers get saved on Death row. Like Aileen Wuornos, she was saved a few years before her execution and her last words were about going to be with Jesus.

So since God send Jesus to die for her it had to have been because he loved her.

1 Peter 2
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

Romans 9
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Everyone begins this life as a sinner. God saves the elect.

Key words: "OUR Savior," not EVERYONE'S Savior.
John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!’” John 1:29, NKJV ...

It is a hard teaching to grasps sometimes that all of us are fallen souls, sinful by nature, and in desperate need of redemption. But, we are. It is even more difficult to comprehend how a blood sacrifice from a spotless lamb was sent to make right all that was wrong in the world. Why would anyone put a limit on the Lamb of God. World means World... Past, present and future.

Now, it it our job to believe it and, even more importantly, to live it.

Romans 10:9-11 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

"World" means some of the believers are born in various places around the world, not just in one area. There are vessels of honor and vessels fit for destruction around the world. Pharaoh wasn't chosen for honor.

For sure and anyone that gets saved are part of the elect.
Of course not .....

I got bruised, and another guy ended up in a cast.

Try to keep up will you.

Or move ahead.
Did you suffer any damage to your frontal lobe? Frontal lobe dementia is also known as frontotemporal can cause a loss of brain function. I can put in a good word to the Brain Transplant Board. I'm getting near the top of the list. I'm going for a Irish brain even though they are the most expansive because I hear they have hardly been used.

What Dictionary Does that definition come from? Mines a little different:

(the world)

the earth, together with all of its countries, peoples, and natural features

Actually Pharaoh was chosen for honor. He was chosen to honor God. We well know that God often works to demonstrate things, systems, false gods, and people are unworthy of our trust; for they shall all fail. To wit, God’s compassion makes it known to all who will heed that he is the one true God who is alone worthy of our trust and devotion. His mighty acts in Egypt were acts of compassionate evangelization.

It demonstrated God’s sovereignty by overpowering Pharaoh who was believed to be the sovereign. The news of this work of God spread to pagans in distant places like Jericho (Josh 2:8–14) and Gibeon (Josh 9:9). It spread to people like the prostitute Rahab in Canaan and “all the inhabitants of the land” (Josh 2:9). The message was clearly understood by Rahab because she believed and was saved.

“Then Rahab declared her faith in Israel’s God: For the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. Responding to the word she had received about the mighty working of God, Rahab believed, trusting in His power and mercy. And that faith saved her.”

There's nothing to "refute".
All Tom, Chalcedon, and Leatherneck have done is quote Scripture, and haven't provided an IOTA of exegesis which proves any problem with Calvinism.

Since Calvinists believe ALL Scripture, there is nothing to "refute".

Further, between David and I, the anti-Calvinist interpretation of 1 Pet. 3:9 has been refuted at least 20 times, yet Chalcedon continues to quote it.

All you do is waste CARM resources posting the same refuted "proof-texts" over and over again. Maybe you and the other anti-Calvinists have nothing better to do with your lives than repeat the same refuted arguments over and over, but Calvinists have a duty to God to use our time wisely.

Have a nice day.
