faith and then life

Acts 11:18 —KJV
“When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

repentance then life
You have to have life to act spiritually. How can a dead person act ?

You appear a bit confused

No one makes themselves alive. God does it upon faith

John 20:31 —KJV
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

faith and then life

Acts 11:18 —KJV
“When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

repentance then life

forget your rationalizations and believe scripture

Not according to the bible

John 20:31 —KJV

faith and then life

Acts 11:18 —KJV

If a person is laying dead in their coffin can they drink a cup of coffee?

You ignored the fact the prodigal son was used in a spiritual context to speak of a sinner repenting Lazarus death was not

you are working with the wrong metaphor
Sorry not to have life is not to have activity, no spiritual life then no spiritual ability or activities.

Again wrong use of a metaphor

assuming union with God (life) and separation from God (death) is the same as physical life and death

No it's right. You trying your best to make it not right but it stands unmovable. No life no activity. Ask a physically dead person to have a cup of coffee with you . Now that same physically dead person is alive in another realm of existence but it's useless in the physical realm where he is dead. Man naturally is dead spiritually.

No its not and scripture doesn't do it
No Life, No activity. Jesus alludes to that here BTW Jn 6:53

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Eating and drinking are symptoms of having life in you, spiritual life. The eating and drinking here is spiritual

Better get out of your theology and into scripture

John 20:31 —KJV
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

Acts 11:18 —KJV
“When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

No spiritual life, no spiritual eating and drinking, which basically is another way of saying believe on Christ
