Failures in communications

There's a problem on this forum with a particular member. Ok... perhaps a couple of members... maybe even a few..

They make it a habit to chase people around the forum into different OP's, demanding that their previously perceived questions be answered to their satisfaction, in spite of the fact that they have been answered (just not the way they think it should be).

They've taken up the practice of trolling, by chasing people around, ignoring the fact that the topics that they feel entitled to discuss have absolutely nothing to do with the OP provided by the initial post.

The thing I find incredibly rude and immature is that they've refused to post their own OP, and then let others decide for themselves if they want to discuss the topic of the OP.

This has gone on for so long now that it's become an embarrassment and a shame to see them continuing to demand that they be answered in other's OP's.

They've even gone so far as to refuse to post their own OP if they are not given a promise to respond to the OP, unwilling to let people choose for themselves.

So much for atheist intellect! 🤦🏾‍♂️

At the bottom left of each post there is a button allowing you to report the post to the moderators. Have you ever tried using this when people do this?

Thanks for brining that up - the worst offender of that is ferengi who routinely ignores the thread topic to drag up an argument from elsewhere. Again, and again and again. If she ever had anything of substance to say that would be one thing...

Yes. I have used it before.
I suppose I was hoping that they would actually be mature enough to go start their own OP, simply because they actually think their ideas were worth further discussion.

The practice of trolling as they do shows me that they neither respect their own ideas, nor do they respect the people whose OP's they've hijacked by trolling.

I don't generally post in the OP's they're involved in.
The people I'm referring to are atheists.

I think this is a very serious problem, and I would take it a lot more seriously if it were brought up by someone who could count to two.
