When confronted, Trump coughed up 15 boxes of papers he should not have removed from the WH, some of which contained classified info.
Maybe the feds have concerns that he did not turn over all of what he might have taken.
Although it is possible some important info may not be recoverable as Trump was reported to have flushed documents down the toilet.

President Trump was hiding nothing, this is the continuation of the political vendetta being waged against him.
The Democrats in Congress went full Stalinist with their J6 show trial, now Biden has gone full Stalinist with this raid on former President Trumps home. This is an unprecedented action against a former president in American history. It is sad to say that America has an AG who acts like Lavrentiy Beria and an FBI that acts like Beria's NKVD. All Americans should be outraged at this un-American action.
All ex-Presidents have done this sort of thing, but President Trump is the first one to have his home searched over it.
Well, he managed to hold onto those 15 boxes for months after he was asked to turn them over.
It is certainly true that he is likely to have destroyed whatever he did not turn over.
But it is also worth a search.
What is the evidence of that?
It is true that Trump destroyed govt documents. Multiple aides reported this, and many of the documents in those 15 boxes were either taped together, or were in shreds.They had access to all of it months ago.
The standard action is for the government to issue subpoenas over the stuff and the lawyers then work it out. You should be outraged that your Biden administration has stooped to this low level.
Like Hillary wiped clean the 33k e-mails that the Congress had subpoenaed? How come the Justice Department didn't go after her?
People like Vibise and Backup defend the indefensible. This is an outrageous action on the part of the Justice department and it's enforcement arm the FBI. Chris Wray needs to lose his job over this, as does anyone else who took part from the high echelon leadership. This is not the America that is supposed to be, the Democrats are in the process of destroying out institutions. This stuff is Marxism pure and simple, right out of the playbook of Joe Stalin.The FBI went through them already
