Agreed! But how do we enforce the law… on law enforcement? Tricky situation.
They lost that when they went after President Trump on the made-up Russian collusion. They have absolutely no credibility left as a force for good, they have become a danger to the nation at large with this kind of unregulated power. The agency needs to be disbanded and all the rot removed and started up again with close supervision by the Congress.

Trump is the only ex-president to have orchestrated a treasonous disinformation campaign in an attempt to override a federal election, and then stood by as his own vice-president was threatened by a mob for doing his job and certifying it.
He is a self-serving, amoral scumbag that deserves all this, and more besides.

Uh, the treasonous campaign was started by Hillary and supported by the Democrats in the 2016 election. The "Russian Collusion" campaign proved to be one giant falsehood. Never before had entities of the U.S. Government (FBI, CIA, and the Democrat Party) gone after the opposition presidential candidate and then the elected President.
