Are we not saved by Grace alone thru faith alone?
Of course, that is why baptism does now save us through the ressurection of Christ.

Check out Mark 16:16. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. There is no relative pronoun in that passage in search of an antecedent, nothing pointing believe away from baptism.

Do we realise that the world and the media will now use this to deceive the world further. The world isnt interested in Mark 16:16 but rather that Rohrer's message is that 'lgbt people' are saved and lgbt should be celebrated and this is what the Lutheran church says.

The justification of God trumps whatever the world or a Lutheran church might think, say, or do. Praise the Lord!

Not according to them. They insist salvation comes through baptism, just like the Catholics.
Why dont you start a thread on this; baptising or not baptising is not specifically described as a barrier to the Kingdom, unlike lgbt stuff

We trust in the true Christ revealed in the Christian Scriptures rather than a neo-gnostic fantasy imagined by some.

Let us know when you find a relative pronoun in Mark 16:16 that turns believes away from baptized.

If you believe your salvation is earned by being baptized, like these three and the Catholics do, then adding works to the requirements for salvation is most certainly a barrier to the Kingdom.

I could cite Paul's words from Romans about adding works of the law, but you all seem to have such a low view of scripture that I don't see any point.

Water Baptism is the outwead sign of an already accomplished inner work by the Holy Spiorit, as it was the badge in the early Church to being part of the local assembly, by identifying with lord Jesus, but NOT way to get first saved!

Baptism points out us towards Jesus, as he saves us, not the water rite!

As I have pointed out already, I dont believe salvation is by baptism. I do accept that believers should be baptised with water and the Spirit and I also accept that believers should repent. .. because that is what Jesus taught

That is twice now I have asked you about the thread subject and twice you have responded about baptism.

So you also agree that God created man and woman to be in union and so not lgbt?

water Baptism to be done to those who have professed Jesus as Lord, and God ONLY recognizes and honors the marriage between a man and a woman!

Agreed. Baptism is a response to salvation, not a means of salvation.

OK. Here's second half of Mark 16:16 that you keep ignoring:

"but whoever does not believe ___________ will be condemned."

Now, can you fill in the blank?

No, as the Spirit comes upon faith in Jesus!
I asked Bonnie about this several times, as the Bible says that both Paul and Cornelius received the Holy Spirit, thus, indicating salvation, before they were baptized.

So far, she's ignored it.
