Of course I care. Not only do I have relatives in the US, but what happens there affects my own country. We are close allies and trading partners. The notion of isolationism, xenophobia and ignorance of anywhere else in the world, is peculiar to Americans, and only a few of them.

I have no idea. Ritual, group chanting and magic spells are much more prevalent over there I believe. Putting one's hand on one's heart is presumably supposed to make you look more sincere. Something that has to be drummed into children from an early age. Actually BEING sincere is of no consequence whatsoever. Appearance over substance every time.

If the new world order has fewer people who think like you in power, then I will love it.

I have heard of several definitions for generation...I do remember the book 88 reasons for 1988.

Ephesians 4:11-13 appears to present a "Unified"/MATURE visible church before the end of the age.

Those of us who were part of the Charismatic outpouring witnessed a precursor of that - during the few years in the '70s when "Denominations" became VERY unimportant, and we all just flowed together as Christians who all saw a higher level of spirituality than our various "theologies" presented. And then, of course, like all "Seasons of refreshing" it ended around '78 or so - and we went back to "Church business as usual".

The MATURE Visible Church of Eph 4 isn't even on the radar - yet. The color of the carpet in the sanctuary is still the IMPORTANT thing. and 2 Chr 7:14 (If MY PEOPLE - etc.) hasn't occurred yet.

BUT HEY!! I still have my copy of "88 reasons" up in the book case - it PROVES Biblically that THE RAPTURE will occur in the fall of '88. Except -
