My Bible says PARTAKERS, NOT sharers.
 
The word translated "partakers" of the divine nature in KJV 2 Pet 1:4 is koinonos. In the NT it is translated "partakers" 9 times and "partners" 1 time. The context of 2 Pet 1:4 does not favor "sharers."
2 Peter 1:4​
(4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Nothing in the preceding and following vss indicates sharing.

Thayer Definition:
1) a partner, associate, comrade, companion​
2) a partner, sharer, in anything​
2a) of the altar in Jerusalem on which the sacrifices are offered​
2a1) sharing in the worship of the Jews​

The first chapter of each gospel refers to Jesus Christ as God.
