2 Peter 1:4 For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature.BTW I know of NO Bible verse which says men "share" in God's nature.
Evasion. You did NOT respond to Romans 10:13.Jesus is the Son of the only true god...
Jn 17:3
1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

My Bible says PARTAKERS, NOT sharers.2 Peter 1:4 For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature.
My Bible says PARTAKERS, NOT sharers.
NKJV reigns supreme. My Bible says sharers.
The word translated "partakers" of the divine nature in KJV 2 Pet 1:4 is koinonos. In the NT it is translated "partakers" 9 times and "partners" 1 time. The context of 2 Pet 1:4 does not favor "sharers."
2 Peter 1:4(4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Nothing in the preceding and following vss indicates sharing.

Nope, the son isn't called or referred to as God. The son is called the son of man and the son of God, but never "God" since God is his father. The Son is called/referred to as God, in scripture, but the Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit.
