God is the Lord, Jesus is the Lord, therefore Jesus Christ is God. Proof - part 3

I don't know why you are addressing me, since I didn't bring up any "Lord" arguments. But I believe @SavedByTheLord did. You really have difficulty paying attention to who you are responding to, don't you? Please try to pay better attention in the future.

But I will share my agreement with SbtL that the term, "Lord" in the NT, used of Jesus, is a further testimony to His deity. And no, there is no difference between "Lord" and "LORD" in the spoken word.
True.

The LORD
יְהוָ֨ה ׀ (Yah·weh)
Said
to my Lord:
לַֽאדֹנִ֗י (la·ḏō·nî)

No, I'm not wrong about that.
There is no difference in pronunciation between "Lord" and "LORD".

You really refuse to accept correction, don't you?

And FYI, when Jews read that Scripture, they would NOT say, "YHWH said to my Adonai".
They never uttered God's name. They would replace it with either "HaShem" ("The Name"), or "Adonai" ("Lord").

So the Jews would read that as, "Adonai said to my Adonai".
Just admit that you're wrong.
It would be a tremendous growth experience.

You’re absolutely wrong.

So is Jesus David’s son or God’s son?

Matt 22
41While the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus questioned them: 42“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?”
“David’s,” they answered.
43Jesus said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord’? For he says:

44‘The Lord[YHWH] said to my Lord,[Jesus]
“Sit at My right hand
until I put Your enemies
under Your feet.” ’

45So if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how can He be David’s son?”

46No one was able to answer a word, and from that day on no one dared to question Him any further.

Of course, Jesus Christ is God Almighty the Creator of all things. And since the Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator of all things, He could not be a created being. That would violate the law of non contradiction and sanity.

The gospel of John declares that Jesus Christ is God in its first verse. Referring to Christ, John wrote:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1

The Bible is quite clear that God created all things. This is clearly shown in Genesis 1 and other parts of the Old Testament (Exo 20:11, Exo 31:17, et al).

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. - Gen 1:1

But the New Testament declares that Jesus Christ created all things. So the following verses prove that Jesus Christ is God Almighty, the Creator of all things.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. - John 1:3

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. - John 1:10

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: - Col 1:16

Jesus Christ, who always spoke the truth and is the judge of all, said:

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. - John 8:24

Not according to scripture.

In the prayer of John and Peter they clearly identified God as the Sovereign Lord and Crestor and identified Jesus as a servant through whom God worked through.

Acts 4
23On their release, Peter and John returned to their own people and reported everything that the chief priests and elders had said to them. 24When the believers heard this, they lifted up their voices to God with one accord. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “You made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them. 25You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant,c our father David:

‘Why do the nations rage

and the peoples plot in vain?

26The kings of the earth take their stand

and the rulers gather together

against the Lord

and against His Anointed One.’

27In fact, this is the very city where Herod and Pontius Pilate conspired with the Gentiles and the people of Israel against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed. 28They carried out what Your hand and will had decided beforehand would happen. 29And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness,30as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”

31After they had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Jesus Christ, who always spoke the truth and is the judge of all, said:

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. - John 8:24
Yes keep quoting that because you’re playing a dangerous game with your soul. You clearly don’t believe Jesus is who he said he is. He never said he is God, therefore you don’t believe he is who he said he is. You’ve been deceived and your eyes and ears are shut very tightly.

Here’s a question for you… did Jesus Christ come in the flesh or did God come in the flesh?

You have a false assumption. Therefore you blind to see the truth.
Jesus Christ is God, the Word made flesh, So He is both God and man,
And the Father, the Son and the Holy are all God.
These are plainly revealed in scripture.

The Bible is quite clear that God created all things. This is clearly shown in Genesis 1 and other parts of the Old Testament (Exo 20:11, Exo 31:17, et al).

You're misunderstanding the context of those passages. They've been explained to you and you either didn't read it to preserve the survival of your ignorance or you rejected them.

The only Creator is the Father, that's the Sovereign Lord, and YHWH.

Go all the way back to Genesis. Who is the creator?

Genesis 2
4This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD[YHWH] God made them.

John and Peter and John prayed to YHWH:

Acts 4
24And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them,

They called Jesus His servant. I am sorry, but you have totally misunderstood Jesus to be God.

In Titus 2:13, Jesus Christ is called “the great God”. This is another proof that Jesus is God.
Explain this one, but Im sure you will have a carnal explanation and try and explain away the truth in what Jesus said about his Father who was Lord over him and who was his God.

John 20:17. “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”
John 12:49.
For I did not speak from Myself, but the Father Himself, having sent Me, gave Me acommandment, what I should say and what I should speak.

You never have been introduced to his God he called Father is the real problem here.

And yet God the Father calls Jesus Christ, the Son, "God"

Heb 1:8 says, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne O God”. Thus, Christ is God.

I'll ask this question again. Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh or did God come in the flesh?
All he understands is a god of flesh, he cant relate to God who is a Spirit coining into mans flesh which is His temple, His kingdom. He doest believe Jesus at all, especially in things such as , For I did not speak from Myself, but the Father Himself, having sent Me, gave Me acommandment, what I should say and what I should speak.

Nor does he believe Jesus in Luke 17:20-21 where Jesus was very clear the kingdom of God doesnt come with observation as these see man who has flesh and bone, but is within you, but not in him for sure. All he sees of a god is flesh and cant relate to the God who is a Spirit Who resides in man. He came to reside in Jesus in Matt 3:16 but he just doest believe it.

And yet God the Father calls Jesus Christ, the Son, "God"

Heb 1:8 says, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne O God”. Thus, Christ is God.

Put your thinking cap on.

You're telling me God has companions who He was anointed above because he loved righteousness? That's nonsense. The correct translation is that the Son is a god with a lowercase g and anyone can be a god with a lowercase g .

John 10
35If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—

This is quoted from Psalm 45 where the context is talking about a human king with a wife. This passage is not useful for claiming Jesus is God. This is also a major problem for trinitarianism as well.

Hebrews 1
9You have loved righteousness
and hated wickedness;

therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
above Your companions with the oil of joy.”

They're all pretty much the same. They have a particular wheelhouse of go-to verses, but anything mentioned outside of that is more or less rejected or disregarded. I have been talking in some of his threads for several days now just about nothing I said has been addressed. They keep changing the subject and pushing their false doctrines. This isn't all for nothing. People will never wake up if we just say nothing. So keep going man.

And even with almost 800.000 words and over 31,000 verses in the Bible, you have none, zero, zilch, nada, 0 that deny Jesus Christ is God. Only the words of runnungman, which I reject. We have tons of them.

?

Jesus denied being God.

“Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone” – Luke 18:19
“Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good.” – Matthew 19:17

You need to look at the whole passage. Why cut it off? The rich ruler was trying to justify himself with the question. But he only called Christ, "master" and not "Lord". So Christ. loving him, tried to reason with him. Did he understand that if he was calling Christ "good" did he understand that that made him God?

BTW, are you actually saying that Christ is not good? What did He do wrong?

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. - Hebrews 4:15

I need to quote snippets for you so you don't get distracted and use your Bible lawyer skills to twist and distort the scripture to your own destruction. Jesus deinied being God. Clearly he isn't the God he is saying is [objectively] good.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. - Hebrews 4:15

That verse is your enemy as well, but thank you for quoting it because it also proves Jesus isn't God.

James 1
13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone.

Not to you we agree, but the fact is

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

John 5:30 KJV: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 12:For I did not speak from Myself, but the Father Himself, having sent Me, gave Me acommandment, what I should say and what I should speak.

He doesnt believe anything that Jesus said of himself and who he was in the Father. He reads these things Jesus was quoted of and flat out calls them a lie. Totally antichrist, refusing to receive Gods anointing, which would be Christ in him to have His same disposition of mind.

He would just have to be born again with that same renewing of mind, anointing that Jesus received from God in Matt 3:16. But you know, and I know and he knows, and God knows, that aint gonna happen least he repent of his own ways who worships flesh instead.
