Yes, I know...so? I have read two books on it-
THE PLAGUE OF THE SPANISH LADY in 1993, and more recently,
THE GREAT INFLUENZA. Both are very good, especially the second one.
But right now, with this Delta variant, we are seeing a surge of hospitalized infected younger people in the 18-49 age group. NOT so many deaths, but certainly, many infections in this age group that require hospitalization--it is happening in my state.
These data represent confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Our older grandson, 17, has covid. He started coming down with it late Sunday, had a low-grade fever, cough, and some congestion on Monday. Our daughter took him to their doctor, where he tested positive for covid with the PCR test. He is somewhat better today, no fever, but lost his sense of smell, and is still somewhat congested. His whole family is in quarantine. Fortunately, he and his younger brother can still go to "virtual" school. So far, this grandson is the only one with symptoms. No one else is sick. They have all been vaccinated, since April.
