That's a ribbing comment towards some Reformed who insist Jesus entered through a window into the upper room when the door was locked on the evening immediately after the resurrection.
My comment referred to Christianity coming to the Aztec. That's a ribbing comment towards some Reformed who insist Jesus entered through a window into the upper room.
Would you further elaborate please? My comment referred to Christianity coming to the Aztec.
As a Catholic, I was observing the closing of one door [reformation] and the opening of another [bringing Christianity to the Aztec -- who sacrificed millions].Would you further elaborate please?
Well,, it would still be a miracle if He flew through an upper room window into the room where the disciples were. However, the text seems to make it clear that the room was shut tight, for fear of the religious leaders. Plus, I think the text says that Jesus appeared suddenly in their midst--seems to me that if He had come through the window, the Gospel would have mentioned that. But somehow, Jesus never struck me as a second-story kind of guy....That's a ribbing comment towards some Reformed who insist Jesus entered through a window into the upper room when the door was locked on the evening immediately after the resurrection.
