Atheist makes claims about what God does.Edit
Atheists have very strange ideas about someone they claim doesnt exist. They dont believe in God but they do believe He does abortions.
Hmmn.
Atheists point out the strange ideas that arise from believing in God.Atheists have very strange ideas about someone they claim doesnt exist.
I'll play along. What's the strangest idea that arises from believing in God?Atheists point out the strange ideas that arise from believing in God.
And none of it was pro-choice abortion and none of it was done by other humansEdit
Ah yes, that is right, so just not pro-choice then.Edit
Since you dont believe in God it couldn't be God who you are thinking aborts them. Evolution aborts them perhaps?Edit
You have no examples of abortions.Edit
None had abortions.Edit
That's a result of belief in God?Edit
So you have NOT seen God do an abortion.Edit
You clearly have no idea what an abortion is. Abort means to stop. Anything that stops a pregnancy is technically an abortion. Very few of them are done via D&C let alone a D&E.You have no examples of abortions.
None. I suspect you have no clue what a D&E procedure does.
Well belief in God is a necessary, if not sufficient condition. That's a result of belief in God?
Abort, yes, but not abortion, in context is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. You clearly have no idea what an abortion is. Abort means to stop. Anything that stops a pregnancy is technically an abortion. Very few of them are done via D&C let alone a D&E.
Well based on the world in decay from disobedience, Christ has made the way back to perfection. So not entirelyI have not experienced God in any form whatsoever, nor do I expect to. However, spontaneous abortions occur, which if you do believe in God, are clearly his handiwork. Plus of course there is all the stuff in the Bible about killing people, many of whom would have been pregnant women.
I believe in God and don't think God aborts 25% of all pregnancies. Complete asininityWell belief in God is a necessary, if not sufficient condition.
That is what happened to tribes who wanted to kill God's people and force them into slavery. Some calculations are possible with the killing of the Midianite women in Numbers 31.
The passage tells us that there were 32,000 Midianite virgins captured. Given the times, those will likely have been girls under the age of about 15. There will have been about 32,000 boys who were killed, again probably aged less than about 15. That gives a total of 64,000 children.
A newly married woman has no children. A woman married for 15 years or more would have about 10 children below 15, allowing for infant deaths and the lack of contraception. Take 5 children per woman as an approximate average. 64,000 / 5 = 12,800 women capable of bearing children. I will ignore post-menopausal women.
How many of those women were pregnant? A pregnancy is nine months. Allow, say, six months between pregnancies. Possibly less if the newborn dies early, but I'll stick with a six month gap. Nine months pregnant with a six month gap makes 9 / (9 + 6) = 0.6 of the fertile women pregnant.
This gives 12,800 x 0.6 = 7,680 pregnant women killed.
Given that some of those women will have been carrying twins, we can say that approximately 7,700 unborn Midianite children were killed on God's orders.
And thus is demonstrated the difference between necessary and sufficient.I believe in God and don't think God aborts 25% of all pregnancies. Complete asininity
But opposite to way you think. HmnnAnd thus is demonstrated the difference between necessary and sufficient.
