Heb 9:12 When did Jesus obtain eternal redemption: the Cross or the Ascension?

Who do you think the adventists are? They are non-rc's.

The beliefs listed below are agreed upon by any serious evangelist that the gospel message is at the core of Christianity. And that they are essential to the Christian faith. Any person or denomination doesn't matter who they are; who removes or changes one or more of the core belief's will soon find their religion is null and void and they are practicing an empty and dead faith.

Any denomination that claims to be Christian but deny one or more of the essentials of the Christian faith is to be avoided doesn't matter who they are or the name of the denomination.

Jesus is the Son of God and is equal with God
Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life
Jesus was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins
Jesus rose from the dead
We are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin
God's written word is infallible

Jesus is fully God, and fully man at the same time
There must be a spiritual transformation

There is only one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Are co-equal and co-eternal, one in essence, nature, power, action, and will.
You are having a valid point. RCs are denying Jesus paying the penalty for our sins on the cross. They are making the cross unnecessary with their views.

That is what scripture indicates.
Col 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross

Gal 3:
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree”

But on the day of Atonement the high priest killed the bull he had to take the blood of the bull into the temple and put it on the Ark of the Covenant. In a similar manor Jesus had to take his blood into the heavenly tabernacle and enter the Holy of Holies with his own blood to obtain eternal redemption. That is what it says in scripture.

Hebrews 9:11-12, "But when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation), he entered once for all into the Holy Place, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption."
So then in regards to the day of atonement, when is that the cross or the ascension. Are they different days?

are you saying that Christ did not complete His atoning work while on the Cross?
Paul doesn't think so.

I Corinthians 15:17, "If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins."
it is my view that Christ did complete His atoning work while on the Cross..
YOU are the one who made the claim otherwise:

I asked "Do Catholics believe that eternal redemption was not obtained or completed until the Ascension?"
YOU replied "That is what scripture indicates."

but that was a couple of days ago
what is it today?
clearly answer

"When did Jesus complete eternal redemption: the Cross or the Ascension?
