Good to see that this section is empty.
I'm not a fan of home schooling either because i don't want to handicap my children.

I'm glad homeschooling is making a comeback. How can you handicap your children by teaching them? What will handicap them is putting them in public school indoctrination camps, because that's what they are. Kids graduating that can't read or write, but they know all about the alphabet mafia and are taught to hate their country and anyone that doesn't look like them.

My wife spent a few years as a gifted facilitator at a top magnet H.S. One block from the University where she had many students take classes while still in H.S. She was in a circle where a lot of home school kids showed up at University and also at our daughters state track meets.

It is accelerated learning.

Our daughter was a few years in a single gifted classroom. Under 10 students and a span of 3-4 grade levels. They stayed in the same room with the same teacher. It was set up like a Home school. Handicap?
She completed all of her upper university level math requirements for university engineering before going to H.S. Handicap? Our son was in the same room. He started H.S. and before finishing his first year we had him in the University full time. He missed H.S. and was teaching chemistry and Math at the University when he was 21.

Home school is more about commitment than smarts. Teacher and student committed are required. Plus lacking the other nonsense time wasting public schools offer.
