How Do I Do What I Know I Should Be Doing?

- "I know what to do howbeit my problem is getting myself to do it. I am on anti-psychotic medication which make me tired and lethargic which is why I cannot seem to get control over myself. I have but one enemy (myself) and I find I have very little control over Him. How can I motivate myself sometimes I cannot even get out of bed morning with feeling of darkness within me which is painful beyond endurance. I would not wish this curse on anyone. I would rather have physical pain than mental pain anytime. Sorry for long story; but it helps to talk things thru. Amen?"

Hi David.
Are you reading the bible daily?
Are you praying daily?

If not, are there specific issues preventing you from doing these two things?

If you are, what things that you're reading stick out to you?

Trust Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd & Friend to help you walk with Him and even carry you through this valley of death and He will help you to fear no evil because He is with you always.

Psalm 23:1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
