From my point of view it happened years ago.Yep. They sure can.
But you’ll know when it happens. ?

You have taken the first step. Next you need to follow and obey Jesus,s commands.Yes, we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and we believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead.
Test everything according to Scripture. But that works both ways. Christians can claim that we are not Christians, or that our teachings are in error but just because they say so doesn't make it so.
What method is there then to determine the truth, who is correct?
And once God puts that enmity between you and the pagan practices of the Church of Rome, not only will you see it but you will also start to hate it.Anyone can claim that God opened their eyes and now they know the truth.
But scripture alone doesn't work for all Christian beliefs. Scripture by itself doesn't settle all differences among Christians concerning the our faith.Test everything according to Scripture.
Well that is what you say but how do we know that is the truth. And once God puts that enmity between you and the pagan practices of the Church of Rome, not only will you see it but you will also start to hate it.
You have no way of knowing until you come out of her, repent and turn to Christ. Unless, God Himself calls you out of her. As He did Luther.Well that is what you say but how do we know that is the truth.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience but that experience isn't the sum total of Catholicism. There are others who pick up the bible and accuse it of indoctrinating people as well. But there is a definite authoritative Church in Scripture that teaches, corrects, holds to account, assists in virtue building and confecting sacraments (baptism/Eucharist) etc. That you must concede. It's not called discipline; rather, it's called indoctrination. I've been there; until I picked up a Bible, read it and believed it.
Reading and believing the Bible is a bad experience?I'm sorry that you had a bad experience ...
See what I mean; I will not concede to RCC's indoctrination.... But there is a definite authoritative Church in Scripture that teaches, corrects, holds to account, assists in virtue building and confecting sacraments (baptism/Eucharist) etc. That you must concede.
No you claim you were indoctrinated when you were Catholic.Reading and believing the Bible is a bad experience?
But you have to concede that there is a literal church in Scripture with all those functions.See what I mean; I will not concede to RCC's indoctrination.
Name one church in scripture with 'two sinless mediators and advocates....
But you have to concede that there is a literal church in Scripture with all those functions.
Are you getting wobbly on us now? We have the truth of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of the Christian faith. No, I am looking for the truth. Yes, God's word is the truth. But interpretations of God's word is not necessarily the truth.
I will pray for you tonight. Therefore, I will be a mediator between you and Jesus.Name one church in scripture with 'two sinless mediators and advocates.
Are you a sinless advocate?I will pray for you tonight. Therefore, I will be a mediator between you and Jesus.
We have the truth of Jesus Christ in the inspired written word, the source and summit of the Christian faith.... We have the truth of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of the Christian faith.
Amen!We have the truth of Jesus Christ in the inspired written word, the source and summit of the Christian faith.
And before the "inspired written word" there was the preaching of the word and the Holy Eucharist. Better late than never I guess. We have the truth of Jesus Christ in the inspired written word, the source and summit of the Christian faith.
Of course that comes directly from the uninspired unwritten Tradition; right? And before the "inspired written word" there was the preaching of the word and the Holy Eucharist. Better late than never I guess.
No, direct from Jesus and then the Apostles who took His teachings forward.Of course that comes directly from the uninspired unwritten Tradition; right?
Where does scripture, Jesus, or his apostles speak of 'two sinless mediators and advocates', or 'Mother of God', or 'rosaries'?No, direct from Jesus and then the Apostles who took His teachings forward.
