I agree with you here...I thought the Spirit of God drew men?

I thought the Spirit of God drew men?
I actually believe what Theo said is true. I just don't see how he believes it.
So how did your faith differ? Faith is faith.
What you said isn't consistent with Calvinism.
The object of that faith is different . One is in the true Christ while a unitarian is in a false christ. So how did your faith differ? Faith is faith.
Now that's confusing...I actually believe what Theo said is true. I just don't see how he believes it.

How does faith exist without God?

What We Believe About the Five Points of Calvinism
To know God in his sovereignty is to become like an oak tree in the wind of adversity and confusion.www.desiringgod.org
You said the Gospel was the means.
So the faith is the same and object is different. I can accept that. That is the only difference. Faith misplaced.
But you said you thought the Spirit of God drew men... https://forums.carm.org/threads/how-is-a-person-made-righteous-before-god.6847/post-459881 That is consistent with Calvinism...It is not consistent with Calvinism. You even agreed with me.
How does any faith exist without God?
How does any faith exist without God?
It doesn't, because everything that exists requires a way and place in order to be known to exist and occur. And the only way and place that is known to exist that can host faith, belief, truth and the reality of God is His Believing Mind. Outside of a believing mind, there is no other way or place that anything can be known to exist or occur.
God doesn't need to convert. Besides; he never changes ..So why would god be looking to convert?
