How is a person made righteous before God?

The object of that faith is different . One is in the true Christ while a unitarian is in a false christ.

Define true christ?

and good luck with that one .....

4Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

John Piper wrote...

"We are utterly dependent on God’s grace to overcome our rebellion, give us eyes to see, and effectively draw us to the Savior."

So how is that in any way at odds with what I said?
Clearly YOU are the one who doesn't understand Calvinism.

So the faith is the same and object is different. I can accept that. That is the only difference. Faith misplaced.

Quite the conundrum.

Romans 14:13 13Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

The bible is tricky.

1 Peter 2:8 8and, "A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message-which is also what they were destined for.

Seems like a tension .....

How does any faith exist without God?

It doesn't, because everything that exists requires a way and place in order to be known to exist and occur. And the only way and place that is known to exist that can host faith, belief, truth and the reality of God is His Believing Mind. Outside of a believing mind, there is no other way or place that anything can be known to exist or occur.

So why would god be looking to convert?

God doesn't need to convert. Besides; he never changes ..

Besides; he never changes ..

This is a bit of a misnomer .......
