How is a person made righteous before God?

You do know when any Christian discusses John 1:14 the Incarnation it was permanent , not temporal correct?
He doesn't really agree with you, he just doesn't want to deal with the Verse. He never really meant he agrees with you. He truly disagrees with you, so he said something that was meant to deceive...

I’m not sure I could agree with anything he believes about Jesus except for the fact He was a real person who walked this earth nearly 2000 years ago. Most everything else concerning the Son we would disagree on doctrinally .

For me John 1;14 speaks of what Christ offered the world: grace

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I don't see the word, "offer" ANYWHERE in that verse, seth.
Why do you feel the need to ADD to the word of God, to CHANGE what Scripture is saying?

Did you know that the word, "offer" is NEVER used anywhere in John's gospel?

How can he be allowed to teach others ?

another oxymoron
The way he's talking, it didn't last long. He left the Churches he taught at; probably had to leave. He said there's no Hope for his current Church because they "heard" his teachings...

We do not have the Divine Nature; that's an Incommunicable Attribute of God...

C, if you read the scriptures I gave you it doesn't look like you them. I'll print it out for you.

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Why don't you believe that?

I do believe we're partakers of the Divine Nature, but would say that partaking of the Divine Nature doesn't make anyone Divine; no more than partaking of an alcoholic beverage makes us Alcohol...

We become like Christ while He was on earth. We do not commit willful sins of lawlessness, and we have authority over demons, and heal, raise the dead, and speak in tongues, and by faith receive divine protection. And the devil cannot touch us. Jesus gives us His glory.

The Bible says if we say we're without Sin, the Truth is not in us; and we are Liars. I KNOW I can't say I'm without Sin; and you shouldn't say it. Just to say it is Sinful in itself. God is Truth, thus God would not be in you since the Truth is not in you...

God shares his Glory with no one...

You are not God and not sinless

Jesus was God and sinless.

Can you see the giant Chasm between the two of you ?
