This Doctor tells us how he lied and knew he was lying. You people believe what he peddled.



I welcome the courage of the BMJ to write an obituary on Dr Bernard

Nathanson who became one of the most prominent opponents of abortion;

after being responsible for 75,000 or so abortions himself.

What is not immediately obvious to everyone is that the abortion movement

started with deception and even lies. Dr Nathanson has been very explicit

on this and I am going to quote from his writings and speeches. He said

of dishonesty, of fabrication of statistics and figures; we coddled,
caressed, and stroked the press. (...) We were calling ourselves pro-
abortionists and pro-choice. In fact we were abortifiers: those who like
abortion. Let me digress and speak for a moment on the question of 'pro-
choice', as they euphemistically call themselves now. I reject that
phrase, that euphemism. It is misleading. It is dishonest. It implies that
in the issue of abortion there is an ethical choice whether to have an
abortion or whether not to have an abortion;...Of course... abortion is
not an ethical choice.

I have a first aid certificate, which lapsed fifteen years ago. That is more medical education than you have. I once helped a student cope with a panic attack. That's more medical experience than you have. Looking up stuff on Google doesn't count.

I recall your false claim about doing an abortion for a baby which died in utero. That is a D&C.

Your uneducated tribes don't know the difference between abortuaries killing a baby and miscarriage.

Even more you pile on ugly when you mention dead baby in utero and had no clue the mother will go into contractions.

I have already told you where I live. I first helped deliver a lamb aged 4.

You are in denial. Tell that to the family of Savita Halappanavar, who died of septic miscarriage having been refused an abortion to remove her dead foetus.

We aroused enough sympathy to sell our program of permissive abortion by fabricating the number of illegal abortions done annually in the U.S. The actual figure was approaching 100,000 but the figure we gave to the media repeatedly was 1,000,000. Repeating the big lie often enough convinces the public. The number of women dying from illegal abortions was around 200-250 annually. The figure constantly fed to the media was 10,000.

Dr Nathanson was atheist. He lied and knew what he was doing.

I watch how pro-deathers repeat lies Dr Nathnson published in the 70's

He launched NARAL and it was packed with lies. He admitted how much he lied. Now we see people repeating the lies who are distant medical outsiders.
