How to have the Mind of Christ

When Jesus walked this earth, he did not do his own will. He only did the will of the Father. Jesus didn't need to have any Scripture memorized. The Holy Spirit of his God and Father was abiding in him and His Father told him what to say and what to do every step of the way, and in this way, he knew the will of the Father and was able to do the will of the Father because the Father told him what to say and what to do. In fact, he told us so. Jesus surrendered himself up to his God so that his God could do whatever He wanted to do with that body of flesh. Having the Spirit of his God and Father abiding in him, the mind of God, the Father, was the One who navigated that body of flesh to say and do what He the Father wanted to do with this body of flesh. It was this mind, the mind of his Lord and God, which operated that body of flesh named Jesus. And Jesus let Him to it. It was not his mind operating that body of flesh but the Father's. He didn't do his own will but the Father's will. Jesus denied himself just as he teach us to do. It wasn't his own mind deciding what he should say and speak but the mind of his Father and the Father did this by His Spirit abiding in Jesus. Jesus always chose to do what that other mind in him wanted to do, the will of the Father.

And now you are called to follow in his footsteps walking as he walked. Because that body of flesh named Jesus only did the will of the Father, it was the Father doing His own will through the man Jesus. In this way, the Father said what he wanted to say through Jesus and in this way the Father did the works He wanted to do through the man Jesus. And in this way, Jesus was conformed to the image of God. And now you are called to be conformed to the image of Christ who is the image of God by walking just as he walked. Like Jesus, you are called to yield up your body of flesh so that you do not do your own will but only his. You are called not to operate your body of flesh according to your mind but Christ's mind will operate your body of flesh and you know his mind by that same Spirit. You are called to have the mind of Christ and the mind of Christ to operate that body of flesh, not your own mind, not your own will. And like Jesus, if you follow in his footsteps, you too will be raised into resurrection glory, a partaker of the divine nature.

Religious folk cant relate to God Himself giving in man His will. as He did in Jesus in Matt 3:16 All they can relate to is what someone else says about Him they can relate to. They cant relate to what Jesus said that in that day ye shall ask me noting but go to the Father for yourself and He will give it. Which is the most profound statement in the whole book that these ignore of Jesus statements. Let alone be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in haven is prefect which is totally out of the question for these understanding. .

Agreed, the mind of Christ is Gods anointing to the mind of the beholder of His same Spirit. Spirit being the mind of. Spirit is the mind of how one thinks in terms. To have the mind of Christ, (anointed of God), is to think in Gods terms no different from Jesus thoughts at all. .

Yes that's right. Because he had the Spirit of the Father abiding in him, Jesus had two minds in him. His own mind and the Father's mind. Only one was the decider; only one navigated that body of flesh. And it wasn't the mind of Jesus. The Father's mind operated that body named Jesus. Jesus only did the will of the Father and never his own will, never decided what to do from his own mind. Now we are called to do the same.

Nor does anyone else who has the same from God.

Christ is the disposition of anyone who is anointed of God, He in you and you in Him as one. Christ is not a person but the disposition of. Either Christ is in you and you are anointed of God or you are not. Most are waiting for something beside Him to come.

If God is reality, then God is knowable. And if you say otherwise, then what are you saying about the truth and reality of God, but only that you don't know it?

Anyone can know of God but not everyone is identified with Him as Jesus was identified with Him, You cant know Him at all least He is revealed Himself in you. You can read of Him, you can hear sermons bout Him, you can speculate about Him, but to know Him is to be like Him and in His same image, same mind, same Spirit, same perfections, same walk as He walks no different from Him at all.

Every single person knows very well if God is manifest in them to be identified with Him like Him in His same image. Which is Spirit and not flesh. Most dont even know God is a Spirit they think He is a man yet to come and save them. How can they know God if they never met Him and least He is come and introduced Himself to be in you? John 17. If He is not come then all one can do is know about Him in speculation.

Actually no-one can know of God or identify with Him as Jesus is identified in and with Him without a belief in His reality. You can't know Him at all without Him revealing Himself to us in our belief in His reality. And yes, “you can read of Him, you can hear sermons bout Him, you can speculate about Him”, but until you have believed in His reality, you don't know Him. However, we can know Him as He is when we believe as Christ did in His reality, the same way and same image, with a believing mind Christ knows Him, same same Spirit of truth, the same perfection, the same walk as He and Christ walks together, and no different from Him at all, because it is the same Spirit of truth we believe in His reality.

And when faith is achieved we find we have the same faith OF God at work in us as He was at work in Jesus where the same signs are produced by the same faith at wok Jesus had at work in ourselves. In that it is no longer BELIEFS but reality, God manifest in us. Did Jesus only believe in God or by identification was his God reality?

Even the Devil believes in Jesus that doesnt men he is of him.

Jesus and us both must identify with God the Father in and with our believing minds, because it is only in and with our believing minds that the truth and reality of God can be identified. Or in other words; His Kingdom is known and experienced by us.

Strawman. I don't know about you, but I do not believe in and what “the Devil” believes in and about the reality of God Gary. Do you?

We certainly don't agree on everything, but we do on this issue.

Yes and this is the biggest reason why so many who read and learn the scriptures are still confused about who God and Christ truly are also, because they do not have a correct understanding of this.

I love Paul's words about this in 1 Corinthians chapters 1-3 but especially what he reveals in chapter 2:13-16, for he tell us that they who are truly Spiritual or Led of the Spirit have the Mind of Christ and that is because Jesus had the Mind of God through the same Spirit of God and the Spirit that was his anointing that made him the Christ also.

For the very reason why the majority who claim to be Christians can't understand the truth is because they are being led by their own mind and head instead of the Mind and Head which is Christ Jesus and whose Mind and Head was His Father Yahweh God.

Again God is not about beliefs, God is about the manifestation of Him who opens up the knowledge of what is good and what is evil. You cant know what evil is least you know what good is. You are letting self beliefs dictate to your god what you would have of him. You cant know the ways of the Devil least you know the ways of God. You can guess about it but until you become like God to know this difference as Adam did, as Abraham did, as Moses did, as Jesus did as 120 did, then you are stuck in your own beliefs and trying to worship God in a spirit that is not his,. His Spirit is not a belief but you dont seem to be able to understand that, That is the work of the Devil to keep you from that knowledge.

This is internet noise. You can never have the 'mind of Christ' without first having faith in Him and what He did.

That's nice.

True believers have the mind of Christ. "16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ."

These dont seem to be able to relate to having the same mind of the father in themselves that that Jesus had from Him. They have separated themselves from the One Jesus had in himself in favor of their own ways about their god they have developed to be in their own image. .
