If Biden Wins Will The American Electorate Have A Severe Sustained Prolonged Belly Ache?

Says Patrick J. Buchanan , , ,

Start quote
"In national polls, Trump is further behind, in some by double-digits,
reflecting the mammoth Democratic majorities in populous and
deep-blue California, New York and Illinois.

Still, this thing is not over.

For, at this stage of the 2016 campaign, Hillary Clinton was
showing equally impressive poll numbers, and she would
go on to lose all eight of those battleground states in the
greatest upset since Harry Truman defeated Tom Dewey
in 1948."
End quote

Buchanan writes an interesting article , , and scary too.

If Biden Wins , , ,
Start quote
■ The Democrats will insist that the Senate Abolish the “Jim Crow relic” known
as the filibuster, and use 50 Senate Democrats to enact an agenda more sweeping
than FDR’s New Deal.

■ The Democrats will shift the goal from equality of opportunity in race relations to
equality of results — in income, wealth, power.

■ Reparations for slavery.

■ Pursue the Black Lives Matter demand to “reimagine policing” and to “defund the police.”

■ On immigration, open an immediate path to citizenship and the ballot box for DACA
“Dreamers.”

■ End deportations. Grant amnesty to all 11 million to 22 million illegal immigrants
in the U.S.

■ Abolish ICE.

■ Open America’s borders to new and higher waves of immigration to make America
the most racially, ethnically, socially and culturally diverse society in the history of man.

■ Pack the Senate by extending statehood to Puerto Rico and D.C., adding four
new Democratic senators and making us a bilingual nation.

■ Pack the Supreme Court by adding two new justices.

■ Raise taxes on payrolls, personal incomes, corporations,
capital gains and estates.

■ Accelerate an end to carbon emissions by halting all offshore drilling and
ending any reliance for energy, on coal, oil, gas or fracking.

■ Free education for all from pre-kindergarten through college.

■ On and on the agenda runs. But again, without the abolition of the
filibuster, a GOP Senate minority could block this agenda that is
designed to create a new American nation unlike the one we
have known."
End quote

A Belly Full Of Agony And Suffering ? , , , , ,
JAG Note:
It often has to get worse before it can get better. Perhaps at some
future point the American electorate will suffer and agonize
sufficiently and severely enough -- so that their agony and suffering
will cause them to permanently abandon the national cancer of
Liberalism

It is reasonable to believe that if Biden wins in November our
next POTUS will SOON be K. Harris and she may be the final
"cure" for the national cancer of Liberalism. The American
electorate needs to "get a belly full" of cancerous Liberalism
to where they will, de facto, eliminate Liberalism-Marxism-Socialism
out of American politics once and for all time.

On the assumption that the present polls are correct and Biden
wins in November, it may be that the new POTUS ~ ~ K. Harris
and the Democratic Party will, in the next 4 years, be the final and
permanent DEATH of American Liberalism-Socialism. . Maybe the
American electorate can only learn "the hard way" ~ ~ the way
of sustained agony and suffering.

Time will tell.
I make no predictions.
I am only speculating here.

PS
May God Bless America in these troubled times.

Biden got hammered in last night's debate so we will see.
Ya know I was surprised at Biden's performance last night.
Biden usually mumbles, stammers, and forgets his train of thought,
but last night he appeared normal -- an icy chill ran up and down my
back because I thought thought there for a fleeting moment that
Biden might win the election ,,, that'd be a disaster for America.

Terrifying to think what people will do if that happens. The 'silent majority' may become the hunted underground.

I believe Trump will win on election night, but then the Democrats will try to steal the election in the courts.

If Trump wins, the Left will become violent, just like we saw them do all summer, and I wouldn't put an attempt on his life past them.

If Trump loses, then I fear for our republic.

On the other hand, we've been so comfortable for so long, we've taken our blessings for granted, and we weren't vigilant. Maybe we need a reminder.

It's more about the NWO....

And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.

According to the latest polls:

96% - probability Democrats will keep the House
87% - probability Biden will become President
73% - probability Democrats will take back the Senate

Given how polls failed you in 2016, I'd be careful about putting your faith in them.

Interesting article I found yesterday. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/oct/23/us-2020-election-highest-rate-voter-turnout

More than 50 million Americans have cast ballots in the US presidential election with 11 days to go in the campaign, a pace that could lead to the highest voter turnout in over a century, according to data from the US Elections Project on Friday.

The eye-popping figure is a sign of intense interest in the contest between Republican Donald Trump and Joe Biden, his Democratic challenger, as well as Americans’ desire to reduce their risk of exposure to Covid-19, which has killed more than 221,000 people across the United States.

Many states have expanded in-person early voting and mail-in ballots ahead of election day on 3 November, as a safer way to vote during the coronavirus pandemic.

The high level of early voting has led Michael McDonald, the University of Florida professor who administers the US Elections Project, to predict a record turnout of about 150 million, representing 65% of eligible voters, the highest rate since 1908.

In Texas, the level of voting has already surpassed 70% of the total turnout in 2016. In Georgia, some have waited in line for more than 10 hours to cast their ballots. And Wisconsin has seen a record number of early votes, with 1.1 million people having returned their ballots as of this week. Voters in Virginia, Ohio and Georgia have also seen long lines at early voting sites.

I don't think it's fake, necessarily. There are lots of similar polls.

But the problem is that they use methodology that inflates their numbers.
This coming election will answer whether their "scientific" methodology of polling is unscientific. When you give such biased people a way to manipulate data then they will. The last election showed their flaws quite clearly and it will again because nothing has changed, it's only become more pronounced. Between their polling and their reporting, I hope they wake up shocked and crying. We need some more scream-crying videos of liberals.

The various polling websites give similar statistics. The ones I quoted came from FIVETHIRTYEIGHT.

The projection for the presidential race is below. On that page, click on either S or H in the upper left hand corner to switch to the senate and house projections.

Presidential election forecast
I have a horrible feeling of déjà vu about all this. Let's be honest no one is going to really know until 4 November.

The lurch to the Right of the Republican Party is also particularly worrying for the future of democracy within the USA.

Furthermore, even if Donald does lose he could stand again in 2024, and meanwhile the children are waiting in the wings.

I am glad I am no longer young given the present state of the world - I foresee a bleak future for millions upon millions over the next 50-100 years.

I've been following the national and state level polls very closely for two months now, and it appears the polls are accurate. This election, I think voter suppression and voter turnout are more important considerations than polling accuracy.

Mail in ballots are already being counted in Florida, North Carolina, and parts of Texas, so we should know the winner of all three of these tossup states on election night. If Biden takes Florida and North Carolina, then his victory is very likely. If Biden also takes Texas (which is currently +1 Biden), then his victory is assured. If Biden wins all three states, then it won't matter that Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin won't be declared until a few days after the election.

If Trump runs again in 2024, then it is my hope that he will be doing his campaigning from a jail cell.

I agree that the current state of the world ain't exactly great. Far too many authoritarian governments are taking over in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central and South America (and quite possibly the USA). About the only good thing I can say is that the people here in Canada are still, for the most part, being reasonably rational, although having a few oases of rationality in a world going nuts won't help very much.

Voter suppression is horrendous. How does something that considers itself a democratic process permit that? I read somewhere this could be the highest turnout since 1908 https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/oct/23/us-2020-election-highest-rate-voter-turnout

People standing in line for 10 hours to vote shows remarkable resilience and determination.

Well I shall be staying up to watch it. I shall be "Zooming" with friends to discuss events as they occur! :)

Does the Constitution permit felons to run for the highest office?

It is almost as if the general public has learned nothing from the last 80 years. I never understood the [now banned] Golden Dawn in Greece. Do these people not know what the Nazis did to their country?

Each time I think "Oh things cannot get any worse". They do!
